Great little hotel and pub! Eric cooked us a supers ham, egg and chips after a long 4 hr car journey from wales, even though we were late and kitchen closed! Very welcoming and rooms are great value, almost a suite not a room!! Be staying here again

Great atmosphere, and a big car park at the back. Landlord is very friendly. We paid ten pounds for a whisky, sherry and bottle of ginger ale, which is very reasonable. Will visit again.

Beautiful place and people. Feels more like a family than a pub. The locals all use it frequently. The food is to die for. Best burger I've ever had in my life. And England won 5:0 again Serbia!

We were staying in the village for the weekend while visiting the area so went to the pub and had a couple of meals, both were very good especially the Sunday carvery. We would definitely eat there again if in the area.

Great food good service and friendly staff. I only stayed 1 night on a tour of Devon and Somerset. Creaky floor and bed but it just gave more atmosphere. Would have given 5* but bathroom ceiling needs attention and repainting. Also generator going meant a bit of noise. Under £100.00 for room 3 course dinner & breakfast.

Warm welcome. Very good menu , and beautiful served food. The bedroom was 4star . Comfortable bed and quiet . Everything you need , plus a little more. The staff made me feel at home ,

Room was comfortable with lots of tea and coffee. Clean and tidy. Bed and floor creaky but it only added to the atmosphere. Chilli and Nachos at dinner was lovely but needs a Government Health Warning as it was delicious but spicy! Lemon Posset definitely recommended. Would have given the room 5* but for damaged bathroom ceiling and a generator meant not having the small window open.

This is typical British pub with pool and plenty of beer to choose but huge positive is dinning menu! Extremely good quality of food! Try a burger with chilli jam completely heaven in mouth!
