This is typical British pub with pool and plenty of beer to choose but huge positive is dinning menu! Extremely good quality of food! Try a burger with chilli jam completely heaven in mouth!

Traditional British pub. Good selection of beers. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The carvery was spot on!! Me and my wife enjoyed our visit, would highly recommend!!

First pub on route home from beacon walk. Big car park backs onto recreation ground. Outside tables. Got there just in time for last lunch orders 12-2. Food good, burgers, fish and fish platter. £3 for draught soda water lost a star.

I stopped here for a drink and lunch during a mtb ride over Exmoor. The staff were friendly and the food was good. It is a typical village pub for locals. Not somewhere id take my wife for a romantic dinner. But a good stop for a pint and a bite.

The staff are friendly but the food is below average. In fact it's awful. Paying nearly £20 for ham egg and chips of that quality is outrageous. I don't know how they justify it and still smile.

Only stopped here early evening for a drink but liked what we saw. Excellent service from friendly staff, reasonable prices and what looked like a comprehensive menu.

Good wholesome food that warms your soul. We did a small 3mile walk from the carpark down to Luckwell Bridge and back up again, and after climbing back up the simple atmosphere, tasty food and good service was exactly what we needed. Thank you 💜

Sunday lunch out - very good. We live locally and well worth a visit.
