We booked this restaurant for dinner after reading reviews and walking by to check it out, to see if they would allow us to have dinner there with our puppy as we are visiting from Vienna. They told us they are dog friendly. We had an exceptional meal with our family. The food was not only really good but the service was excellent as well as the ambiance. We had the stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce, potato pancakes with goulash, perogie platter (all were tasty but my favorite was the cabbage and mushroom perogie), grilled chicken with potato dumplings (that were spongy like marshmallows) and apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food and a really nice waiter. The kitchen was a little slow and there was a bit of chaos, but it’s December and there are many Christmas parties, so a lot is going on. In the end, it was a nice evening with good food. There is still room for improvement, but it’s a place I can recommend. Something especially positive: many vegetarian options of Polish food.

Went here on our final day to have some local food and enjoy a family meal. The atmosphere is modern and very friendly You'll know its a good place when its busy all the time and it was full of local people as well as the odd tourist the whole time we were there and when we walked past earlier in the day it was as busy. It has loads of seating though so we didnt have to wait long. Staff are great speak great english are friendly and have a good vibe. Food was amazing The Maczanka Krakowska, perogies, and the soups were all amazing. Loved every mouthful. Would go back, no issues.

Our experience at Smakolyki was absolutely fantastic! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. We tried two Polish specialties—bigos and pierogi—and they were simply outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Polish cuisine in Kraków

Dropped on for a mid afternoon late lunch. We had vegetarian cabbage rolls and pork tenderloin with Silesian dumplings. Food was excellent. Tasty, filling and with the right amount of seasoning. Drive was prompt and friendly. English was well spoken but all wait staff. Highly recommended trip get away from the old city circus. The only particularity, seemingly for all of Poland, is that bread is not served with butter and none was available. The bread basket was tasty contrasting 3 different types of rustic breads.

What a gem of a place. Welcoming atmosphere and even a pianist serenading us as we ate. I had lovely potato cakes with Chanterelle sauce others in party had pork knuckle as well as goulash. Great local cooking at great value. Highly recommend visiting this place.

A lovely restaurant featuring traditional Polish food. We tried the Borscht soup (beetroot soup), which personally, I didn't quite connect with (it wasn't to my taste). However, the potato pancake (Placki Ziemniaczane) we ordered was good and enjoyable. The service was efficient and friendly, and the restaurant had a beautiful interior design, which was charmingly themed around the Thanksgiving holiday period during our visit. A great atmosphere and service, even if one dish didn't quite hit the mark for me.

We ate outside, which was pleasant. Inside the wait was longer. The food took most of 30 minutes to arrive at lunchtime. The goulash with potato pancakes was excellent. The beef cheeks were a bit dry in places and the salad was piled on top of the dish. It was an enjoyable meal. I would recommend it.
