A truly memorable experience! We had an absolutely wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, beautifully complemented by a live pianist who added a magical touch to the evening. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional – they made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. And the food… simply phenomenal! Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. A special highlight was the traditional Polish dish maczanka – rich, tender, and bursting with taste. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try authentic Polish cuisine. Can’t wait to come back!

I visited this restaurant three times during my stay — twice for dinner and once for breakfast. The food was consistently good: tasty, well-seasoned, and nicely presented (photos). The atmosphere is also pleasant and comfortable (the piano as well). Service during breakfast was excellent (which is provided by the hotel/apartment i stayed through a “coin” that we can exchange in the restaurant). The first dinner was also very good in general, a young woman and a blond young man were very helpful, explaining how the restaurant works and how to use the hotel’s meal vouchers. However, my last dinner experience on 18/04 was disappointing. The waiter that night (dark hair, unfortunately I didn’t get his name) seemed very stressed and impatient. He didn’t take the time to explain what was included in the meals and reacted with frustration when asked questions. When I asked for the bill and mentioned I’d use the hotel voucher, he became visibly upset and said I couldn’t use it anymore, insisting I had to pay by card or cash. I explained I had used it during previous visits and that it was my last day in the city, so I’d lose the voucher otherwise. He sighed again, walked away, and tore up the bill while saying something to other staff. Then he came back with the corrected check, applying the voucher — acting as if nothing had happened. It’s a shame that a restaurant with such good food and ambiance has staff who lack basic courtesy.

The LIVER is to die for :) the best I’ve had in a long time! Service is great! The beet juice is fantastic as well. I recommend this place, the price is also good for the high quality of food served.

The food was amazing! The soup, the bigos, the bread, the potato pancakes, it was all good. The serving sizes were a pleasant surprise, they were very large. I couldn't even eat dessert because I was so full. My whole family loved it and they each got a different dish. The dining area is big and the service was great. The prices were not bad, I thought. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Very nice restaurant not far from the Krakow Old Town serving a good selection of classic Polish dishes. It's got a nice atmosphere complemented by live piano music (not sure if it's a permanent feature?). The staff is attentive and friendly. The food was lovely, both the mains and the dessert, decent portions for reasonable prices. Definitely recommended for a visit if you're in Krakow looking for classic Polish fare for a good price.
