Here's Where You Can Find the World's Highest-altitude Whiskey Distillery

"This peak-side restaurant features menu items that incorporate the local Orma whiskey, including a highlighted gerstensuppe — a light barley soup finished with a delicate Orma whiskey foam — making it one of the exclusive culinary ways to sample the spirit outside the distillery." - Erica Firpo Erica Firpo Erica Firpo is a Rome-based travel and lifestyle journalist, author, and podcast host. Great mountain restaurant. The food was of high quality. However I found the portions to be small versus the price paid. Note to the manager: The menu is in german which is ok however the translation was minimal. I had to asks a lot of questions to the waiter in order to understand the menu. If your menu is more understandable maybe clients will send more… needless to say the views are worth a million dollars!!

Spectacular view over the top. Quite busy outdoor but plenty of seats inside on a sunny day during summer.

Pleasant eatery in a most unusual location - atop a peak in the Swiss Alps. The soup was excellent, the service very friendly, the menu quite nice, and the views can't be beat. An excellent place to have coffee or lunch, whether skiing, tasting wisky at OHMA, or just coming up for the view.

Hada fantastic pasta of the day recommended by the amazing waiter. Tasteful for the eye and mouth as well. Obviously, this is a tourist spot so not a quiet place necessarily, vut the views are invredible and the cuisine is very good!

This is an elegant yet rustic restaurant with extremely beautiful views on a clear day. You can enjoy a hearty culinary experience while feasting your eyes on Earth's beauty. The Deer Stroganoff paired with polenta matched in taste the altitude at which it was served. The selection of wine and beer were also carefully selected to allow you a taste of the local craft as well as provide adequate diversity. This is a well deserved lunch or apres ski spot after a long day on the mountain as well as an experience for just those seeking a culinary adventure. Some may call this a gastro-alpine close-to-divine experience.

They have one of the most delicious vegetarian dish, the pasta is amazing, the french fries with the fresh as well and delicious, I am highly recommend to visit this restaurant.

Once you arrive at the top the air is thin:). but still thick enough for the Helicopter to fly and to drop off skiers at the Helipad. The panorama view is breath taking and the coffee does taste better if you have a view like this and the outside temperature is way below zero.

My food wasn't great but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt as I think it's more the combination (polenta and smoked salmon) that's to blame. Great place and views!
