There are a lot of good restaurants in this coastal city, after looking up a lot of them, we decided on this gem. At the moment we entered we were greeted by a lovely waitress, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy, and with some friendly cats playing around the tables. We ordered a couple of dishes from menu, all of them were pretty good, but the one that standed out from the others was the Sweet Chicken Tanjine, which was absolutely delicious! The homemade yogurt was also very good. We totally recommend the place!

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Morocco! It has the most amazing food and a great atmosphere. Its prices are on the higher side but very much worth it. There are some cats around, some people left the restaurant because of this but they don't beg or anything, they just peacefully lie around. We loved it it was so cute. It's a small restaurant, so avoid being with too many or coming on the busy hours because they might tell you to wait but you'll have to be lucky! Bon appetit

One of the best Moroccan restaurants here, the food was very tasty and made just like home, very quick service & cute background music, we had a (meat & vegetable tagine) and (marinated fish fillet) around 110 dh each, I’m telling you I hardly finished my plate as the portion was huge, so you can even share. The only thing we didn’t like, & that is only according to you taste as someone my find it cute, is that it is very small and crowded at night, and cats are everywhere.

Great place!! It was recommended to us by locals at our hostel, and we are glad we listened to them! The food was amazing and worth the price. Best tajine in Essaouira for 90 MAD, we came back 3 times in 4 days, we couldn’t get enough of it. The service was impeccable and the restaurant very clean. Highly recommend, a real banger.

This place was recommended to us by another restaurant that had already finished the options that we wanted at lunchtime. We went somewhere else for lunch but decided to check them out for dinner, which was a great decision. The place looks lovely, there's candlelight, and soft music for a nice atmosphere. The all female staff are welcoming, and the smell of the aromatic spices makes you hungry before your food arrives. We chose from the 120dhs set menu comprising of a starter, main and dessert, and we added a pot mint tea for my partner and an almond and date milkshake for me. Other set menu options were available for 140 and 150. The food/the most important bit: We both had Moroccan soup (harira) to start, along with the lovely soft bread, olives and dips that seem to arrive as standard in this part of the world 😻 I ordered the lamb and vegetable tagine, with meat so tender that I was able to cut it with a spoon! It was delicious. The milkshake was interesting and tasty. I haven't had anything like it before. My partner also enjoyed his vegetable couscous, which was a large and hearty dish, which probably provided him with his entire 5-a-day recommendation. His mint tea was as you would expect, assuming you've tried it before. The service was a bit spotty with my drink not arriving, nor my dessert, but they had a separate starter and main on the bill for me instead of the art menu. This might be our fault - we were discussing amongst ourselves whether we'd have the set menu, do without dessert, etc. and the staff were nearby waiting to take the order. I imagine that it's difficult dealing with so many foreign customers in so many languages, and we made it more confusing. In the end we were able to sort it out very easily and the cakes was boxed up for me to take away - it was late and I was already stuffed anyway. All in all, we left happy.

So cozy Restaurant! Small but not bothering being close to other customers and of course with the company of the cats! The food was very good: tajines, harira soup, samosas, dessert... We took everythinf because it was our last night, and this was worth it! The women do such a nice work. Very good location next to the main street. Top!

We had dinner in this cute and really typical restaurant. The place is cozy but quite small, so I advice to book in advance. Cats will be your company so be aware if you have an allergy. The waitresses are kind and smiley, they also speak a good English, so the communication will be easy. Food is delicious and authentic, we had tajine, cous cous and if you fancy a dessert, chocolate cake is not bad at all. Price is good for value. I definitely recommend it!
