Probably the best restaurant in Agios Ioannis...
The reviews from the past 3-4 years kept us away from this place for a few days until we decided to try it as they had live music.
What a pleasant surprise we had: tender, soft and amazingly seasoned pork souvlaki, fresh fried calamari, Pelion meatballs to die for and great wine.
They have a lot of other sea food and other dishes also.
However it is when you look at their kitchen you realise why the food is so good.
They have an 'open' kitchen so nothing is hidden. You can see their kitchen machines, the chefs (only seasoned greek chefs in their 50s 60s, with gloves cooking on clean stoves). We discussed with the owner's son as we asked why do they have bad reviews from the past and were told they also had a grill house next door but it didn't work out well prices wise.
If you're in Agios Ioannis, give this place a visit, you'll love the food, the music, the people...cooking and serving your food.
