I was impressed with the attention to detail from the moment I arrived. The reservation was honored, and they provided a pillow to ensure my baby was comfortable in the high chair. The service was respectful, efficient, and the food arrived in a reasonable time — we didn’t have to wait long at all. Our server offered helpful advice regarding the cooking level of the meat. Initially, I ordered it well-done, but he suggested medium-well instead. He was absolutely right – it came out perfectly cooked, exactly as it should have been, and was absolutely delicious. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the table was spotless and well-arranged. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service – 39 euros for a three-course meal, including cheese before dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

An amazing restaurant! Great service! Amazing food with wonderful plating. We had the asparagus and the Cebiche for starter. For main: we both had the rack of lamb - sauce was really good and cooked to perfection. Dessertif was Valrhona chocolate fondant with hazelnut ice cream and plate of ice cream, sorbet and almond tuiles. Great way to end the meal. A must try in Lyon! We plan to go back to eat here

Wonderful food and the fixed price menu was very reasonable. Playful interpretations of classic dishes. All 3 courses x 2 excellent! Simple decor and attentive servers. Highly recommended.

Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The food was almost pure fat and was very expensive. Was a very memorable meal for all the wrong reasons. Food took a long time to come (ordered the prefix menu). The service was extremely snobby and didn’t speak english. Somehow they couldn’t understand the google translate to french either and brought a well done piece of lamb when I asked for medium rare. Surprised they would let a dish like that leave the kitchen - don’t let the pictures fool you! Given the reputation of food in Lyon this was more than a disappointment and I’d go as far to say it was an embarrassment to the city. The only way it could have been worse is if I got food poisoned but thats impossible because nothing edible was served!

After extensive research we ended up at restaurant Albert for dinner on Saturday night. The food was overall great with the highlights being the tuna tataki, monk fish and steak. We did find the lamb lacking flavour though hence the 4 star.

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere, friendly service. The food is really nice, it’s just really a pity and a gap in the menu that there is not one single vegetarian dish (not in the starters, neither in the main dishes). Today this is a no-go.

Cozy restaurant in Lyons Croix Rousse "hood". Easy to make a reservation with Google maps. Really good food, very tasty and nicely served. Nice wine list with good options. Great value for money Highly recommendable.

The service from the 3 staff (waiter, chef and runner) was impeccable and attentive, especially on a very busy Saturday. Reservations are necessary as many people were turned down. The menu was innovative but yet remained traditional which is what I was after. Portions were good, just enough. My menu: pate en croute, cabillaud, fromage, baba au rhum, paired with a wonderful Beaujolais served by the glass. The risotto was stuffed in mini vegetables. Eying my neighbors plates, I could tell that these other dishes were also well presented. Again, the friendliness of the staff is a huge draw for me, and I certainly would go back!

Everything here was good. The celery soup, pork shank, white fish in tomato sauce, sausage soup, verbena granita, and pear crumble. There were many other dishes we saw go by that I wish I had tried, especially the paté.

Had the set lunch for 20 euros and can honestly say it was one of the best I've had for that price. A cold artichoke and cheese soup was perfect, the seafood salad was very solid. We then had the fish with an eggplant ratatouille and the beef with a st Marcellin cheese sauce, both excellent and generous portions. The desserts were above average. Nice atmosphere and excellent value.
