Terrible Racist Boss！If you are Asian, please avoid this restaurant. Our family ordered six main courses and one soup. When we realised it was too much food, I politely asked if we could have small plates. The female boss responded with a rude and snobby expression, saying, "We charge one Euro for one plate. How many plates do you want?" We were shocked. When I confirmed with her if this applied to empty plates, she informed us, "In Germany, we don't share food. This is your main course, and this is my main course. We don't share!"
We come from Australia and have been to a lot of Western restaurants, but we have never been treated like this. This experience has ruined our time in Europe and hurt my kids' feelings a lot. When I explained to them that maybe this lady just had a bad day, they said, "No, she was talking to other German customers happily." I should have read other comments here from Asian people before I visited. I can't believe such racism in hospitality can survive. It’s unacceptable to foster such an unwelcoming environment. Everyone deserves to feel respected and valued, and unfortunately, this restaurant fails on both counts.

I personally went to the restaurant at noon to reserve a dinner table. The staff initially told me 5:30. When she realised we had six people, she changed it to 7:00 and wrote it down at that time in front of me.
When our group of six arrived on time, the manager told me I had missed the reservation time and pointed to the book, saying it should be 5:30. I immediately noticed my name written next to 7:00. So I politely explained the whole story. it was originally 5:30, but when the staff saw we were six people, she changed it to 7:00. The female manager rolled her eyes and said she didn’t know, then turned and walked away, leaving us awkwardly standing there. After a while, I asked a young waitress, and she told us to wait outside to see if there would be a table available. So, we were forced out despite having a reservation. My elderly parents and kids, six of us, stood outside in the cold wind waiting. After 10 minutes, we finally got a table and were allowed to go in.
Once again, I‘v never had such a terrible experience in any other restaurant in the world. Maybe there is something new I need to learn here.
