I visit the restaurant Ana every time I’m on Rab, a charming restaurant on the island of Rab that offers a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes. The atmosphere at Ana is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a pleasant evening out. The place has a casual style, yet elegant enough to feel special.
I always order the steak with truffle sauce for the main course, and it never disappoints. The meat is perfectly cooked – tender and juicy – while the truffle sauce adds a delightful depth with its rich, earthy flavor. The portion is generous, and the dish’s presentation is tasteful without being overdone.
For dessert, I ordered pancakes with mascarpone and forest berries, which turned out to be the perfect way to finish the meal. The combination of the soft mascarpone and the tart forest berries created a nice balance between sweet and fresh. The pancakes were perfectly cooked, light, and fluffy.
Danijel and the staff at Ana are always cheerful and provide excellent service.
The service was impeccable as well. Danijel and the staff were both friendly and attentive, providing excellent recommendations without being intrusive. It was clear that they had a good knowledge of both the food and drink menus.
