Restaurant & Hotel Weisses Rössli

Very nice and forward-looking staff who communicated well in English. The location is central and the hotel offers parking in the backyard. The rooms were decent with good beds. Good cleaning. The restaurant had several traditional dishes on the menu that came in generous portions. Nice breakfast room with a decent selection.

We were excited to come to the restaurant, as we do every year, to start the Wild season. Ordered Rehschnitzel as have for a long time. What a bitter disappointment. The sauce tasted only very vaguely of mushrooms, but it was for all intents and purposes completely bland. The spaetzli were completely bland, no butter, no salt, just boiled and on the plate. The rotkohl was cold on one side and warm on the other - clearly just plopped on the pan, hastily heated up and put on the plate - no seasoning, flavor or care. The maronni were white and hard - I'm confident they were barely warmed up with no sauce (should be caramel) or even seasoning. The meat was fine and that was the only thing that we ate, although the sauce was completely bland. That concludes our tradition of coming to the restaurant for Wildseason.

Clean, quiet, safe hotel in the best possible location. Staff was kind and attentive and had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was utterly charming. Breakfast was also very good with a solid selection of sweet and savory items, all of high quality. The restaurant was also top quality. Probably the best meal I've had in Switzerland across Brunnen, Luzern, Bern, Zug, Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Zurich. Fantastic Swiss, German, and Austrian dishes prepared with care and perfectly seasoned.

Very central location within Brunnen. Lovely breakfast, and a nice view over the lake! Would definitely recommend for hikers and individuals who would like a scenic view !

We had an event at the restaurant with 98 people and it was absolutely perfect - three rooms on the 1st floor connect into one large room, with a decor of Swiss maps and landscape. The service was excellent, allergies were taken into account, we had the surprise to get printed menus on our table, the staff was very friendly, we never had to wait and the food was excellent! Our guests were very enthusiastic. We had a fantastic time and were ahead on the day's planning. Highly recommended for special events!

Traveling through the area we stopped for a brief visit, most places were closed for the season. We entered the restaurant and were told they were closing soon for a private event but they still were willing to accommodate us and delivered an exceptional meal! The schnitzel, and hunters plate were amazing along with the French onion soup. A definite stop to dine and have a spritz in Brunen!

The hotel is excellent and located in an amazing area. The staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The traditional Swiss food was delicious, and the ice cream desserts were a big hit with our ice cream connoisseurs, aged 4 and 7. We would love to come back and will wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to others.

Nice hotel, but no air con. Great location and free parking for bikes.
