Bajamonti Pizza, Steak & Fish House

Bajamonti was a pleasant surprise indeed. The food was delicious - we went for the seabass for 2 and the monkfish. My girls had the margerita pizza which they cleaned off quickly. Service was lovely and they even kindly re-seated us outside once the rain had stopped at my request. Nothing seemed to be a bother and our waiter was fantastic. He filleted the fish in style and ensured we were comfortable. The atmosphere in the square was truly lovely and lively, whilst not being too loud serving a pleasant environment to dine in. I would highly recommend a visit here!

The food was perfect. There was live music all the time and it had such a great atmosphere. Our waiter, Božo, was the best, both me and my friend asked for recommendations and he didn't miss. I really liked the burger and the lamb. All desserts tasted amazingly and a very pleasent experience overall.😀

Everything was great..the food was amazing, the drinks were nice, and the service was impeccable. We had "Mrva" as waiter and he made sure multiple times that everything was to our liking. All tourists should pay this place a visit while in Split.

What a fabulous place to eat & drink - it's worth visiting just for the tenderloin steak!! Zoran was our waiter and helped us enormously with the menu, extremely polite and friendly throughout our visit to this lovely restaurant. Great food, great staff, great view, great for people watching! We will definitely be returning next time we are in Split. Prices were very reasonable for such a prime location, and cheaper than we found elsewhere in the old town.

We had dinner at this place yesterday by chance. The food was very good – great flavor and nice presentation. There were only two situations that could be improved: We asked for tap water and were told it wasn’t available, and that we could only order bottled water. Since tap water in Croatia is safe to drink, I find it unreasonable to force customers to buy bottled water when regular tap water could be served. Secondly, when it came time to pay, we asked to split the bill, as my friend and I had ordered different items with different prices, and that request was also denied. I understand that splitting bills can be more complex with larger groups, but this was not the case — it was just the two of us.

Very nice restaurant with breathtaking view! Super cool they have tables outside because you can enjoy the view. The lobster was perfect - homemade koculanski makaruni was also super tasty! Fish stew was quite low- lack of taste, lots of bones in fish and lack of spices - honestly the dish quite average. But in general, I recommend this restaurant. Staff was super friendly and polite

ordered both the T-bone and the Tomahawk, and let me tell you – it was a religious experience. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like a warm hug from the steak gods themselves! But the real MVP of the night? Mario – hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had. Friendly, helpful, and absolutely hilarious. He made the whole evening feel special and fun, without ever being too much. Just the right mix of service and entertainment. He knew exactly when to show up and when to give us space. Always smiling, always on point – Mario is a legend.

Magnificent! We went to eat with 12 people, staff were incredibly nice and professional, sure, it’s a bit pricey, but the quality you get in return is definitely worth it! The tenderloin I had was of the best quality I’ve ever had. If I ever return to Croatia, I’ll come back here for sure!
