We arrived in Tahiti by sailboat in early October 2024 and were lucky to have a local friend show us around the island. We stopped at this lovely Gauguin-themed restaurant for lunch - it was quiet, peaceful, and the food was delicious. The large windows on two sides opened up to views of the water - calm and light-filled. The spacious dining hall was almost empty during the day, which added to the serene atmosphere. The hibiscus flowers on the tablecloths looked like reflections of the lush Tahitian gardens outside - colorful, abundant, and full of life. The hostess was smiling, kind, and warmly welcoming. We carried a little piece of Tahitian warmth and sunshine with us when we left.

See the reviews about the food. This place is right on the water for viewing from your table. The views are spectacular. You could easily spend 4 hours here having food or drinks. The Atmosphere was over the top

We did not eat here, but there was several people having a meal and the food looked very good and tasty. We called there on a round the island trip. We were given an ice cold drink and a respite from the scorching sun. It's a beautiful place where this restaurant is situated. Please try it if you ever go to Tahiti.

Buffet and a la carte. We opted for the buffet—fish, pork, and chicken. The pork was dry, but it could have been an incident. The buffet was a little empty because of a few buses of tourists arriving simultaneously. overall a good experience with very friendly crew . In a local atmosphere.

A truly Tahitian experience, old Tahiti without apology. The owner's have lived incredible lives and even wrote a book about, and may possibly greet you if you come by. Worth the hour drive from Papeete.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful views and a lunch menu that you can mix and match with appetizer, main, and dessert. Would definitely return if I am in the area again!
