Gostionica Baracuda

Barracuda was a highlight of our stay in Mali Lošinj. We started with a fresh, flavourful dentex fish tartar, followed by pjukanci pasta loaded with perfectly cooked seafood. The surprise favourite was the raw scampi, served with its head cooked for a burst of rich flavour – something truly memorable. Service was friendly and efficient, and the view of the harbour at sunset made it all feel special. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re on the island.

Pleasant atmosphere on the terrace just a few meters from the sea. Very friendly staff. The grilled squid was excellent, as well as the cold appetizer “A la Barracuda” (which is actually octopus carpaccio). The presentation of the dishes was very attractive. Prices for food and drinks are moderate, except for the octopus carpaccio which, despite being beautifully served and of excellent taste, is overpriced considering the portion size. Overall rating: 4.5 stars.

Very fresh approach to serving the food. We followed the recommendation and ordered Adriatic squid. It was very tasty. Also the chef's salad with gamberi was nicely prepared.

It’s a lovely place. The fish and sea food is very fresh, and all the dishes were tasty. They have gluten free desserts as well. Waiters are polite and they show you the fishes if you would like. It’s not as expensive as it looks like, it’s value for money. The view is nice from the terrace.

Overall a great experience with nice local dishes (check out the black board at the entrance), a friendly staff and chill atmosphere

Very delicious and also something a bit different. The service was excellent and the scallops were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

One of the best foods you get on Croatia!!! Went there twice because it was so good. Even had vegans options. The service was more the nice and helpful and if you are lucky you get to try the selfmade Schnaps from one of the waiters. Definitely a must if you make a stop here!!!

The lively and picturesque harbor of Mali Losinj is the background for this comfortable harbor restaurant with a varied menu and fresh fish. The grilled fish platter was a very tasty compilation of grilled fish and seafood. The sides of grilled vegetables and cooked potatoes were also good. The seasoning of vegetables and some of the seafood was just a little bland. What needs to be mentioned are the excellent desserts. The praline semifredo and orange-almond cake are highly recommended. If you stay on Losinj, this is one of your better dinning options.
