I find this little gem thanks to recommendation of an Italian friend. I thought that it is an ordinary restaurant with classical Italian food but is much more than that. Once you step in from the door you are in Italy. Stylish tables and clutter, staff and incredibly delicious food takes you to Napoli and Sicily. I and my wife were expecting much less and went there just to have a few quick bites and get rid of our hunger with healthy delicious food. But it was an amazing experience. We had pizza, steak, wine and some dessert but I will not tell which because we will definitely go again to taste everything on the menu.

The restaurant with the warm design is located in the charming neighborhood street, which comes off the main street. Don’t get confused with another restaurant has the same name …. This place is A place with a real Italian feel. The pizzas were Neapolitan as they should be, and an excellent pasta dish. Good and fast service although not all the dishes were served together and they forgot one dish. (We were before the closing so I guess that's where the problems were).

On our cable car ride down from the castle we asked for a recommendation for Italian food and this was the place that someone recommended. The pizza here was excellent and reminded me of authentic pizza in Italy. We also enjoyed some gelato and their Napoleon espresso was delicious. If you're here go check out the pizza oven it's very cool. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food.

Amazing food and great service!

Google
It’s a good Italian restaurant, but for what you pay for a pasta dish (the ragú one) I would expect a larger portion. The house red wine was really good and the cheesecake too.

Google
The service was very kind and fast. It is a good change if you want to actually sit at table and have a warm calm dinner unlike in all the tapas bars around. However the pizza was a dissapointment, the paste was tasty but the topping not at all. I have had much better tiramisu

Google
Super tasty, the stuff was the best part they were so nice and catering to our needs (we came before closing and they still served us) Recomend the Bufanila pizza and tiramisu.

Yelp
Went twice now on my trip with family. The food is delicious, the service is great and accommodating. They were very friendly and helpful even with us knowing very little Spanish. We enjoyed every thing about La Bella Napoli!

Yelp
Excellent food. It was so good that we came two days in a row. The pizza mannu is incredibly flavorful. The kids enjoyed the pizza marinara. The adults also enjoyed the pizza marinara. The roasted garlic slices add another layer of flavor. We first ordered a stuffed pasta. Seeing how hungry my husband looked, the woman helping us recommended another dish with meatballs. It was so amazing that even our kids ate it. The bruschetta was excellent, the tuna pizza was amazing, and the recommended rose wine was chef's kiss. The service was exceptional. We had the same server both days and she was incredible. She made us feel very comfortable. The ambiance was also exceptional. The restaurant felt clean and classy while also feeling homey. We thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this true Italian restaurant.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat whenever in Barcelona. Can't wait to be back for my 40th in a little over a year. Will be eating here multiple times during my trip. They have incredible pizza, pasta, limoncello, their dessert is also amazing. Would recommend highly to any Italian food lovers out there.

Yelp
Service was 5/5 and the food a solid 4/5. Fresh ingredients and well executed dishes. A nice Italian gem in a large Spanish city. If you're visiting Barcelona and you're all Tapas'ed and Paella'ed out, try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Everytime I review an Italian restaurant, I feel that I have to mention the fact that I've lived in Italy, and therefore 'know' real pizza. Most pizza places I've been to in other countries have been a complete disappointment, to the point that I pretty much avoid pizza anywhere other than Italy. Bella Napoli is different. The place is truly real, none of that fake Italian atmosphere. From the moment that you walk in, you feel as if you're in a trattoria in Naples. Newspaper cut outs of Maradona and pictures of famous football players (such as Messi) and other various celebrities hang on the walls, in true Italian fashion. The waiters greet you in Italian, and pretty much speak Italian to you throughout the whole meal- which I guess can be a bit confusing if you don't speak Italian, but definitely adds to the feel of being in Italy. Between themselves they speak in the Neapolitan dialect. The entire time you're at Bella Napoli, you forget that you are in fact, in Spain. Nothing about the place suggests that you are anywhere outside of Italy. The menu is varied, with many different pizzas and pastas, as well as meat and fish dishes. The pizza is thick, juicy and delicious. One of the best pizzas I've ever had- and that's including Italy. If you're not a fan of pizza, literally everything else on the menu is delicious too. You can also get Bella Napoli pizza delivered to your home, through sites such as Just Eat, and Yes Delivery.

Yelp
On the last night of our trip to Spain, we were lucky enough to receive a recommendation from a local resident to check out this restaurant. I'm so glad we did!! The atmosphere: A nice but humble restaurant. It's not a fancy place but instead a warm, inviting and lively place. The host greeted us right away and took us to our table. (NOTE: we had a reservation. This is recommended, as the place was quite busy). The food: So, so, so good!! My friend had the penne arribiata, which was perfectly spiced. The tomato sauce was especially good. No jar stuff here! As for me, I had a pasta dish with sausage and shaved truffles in a cream sauce (I don't remember the name). It was very rich but so incredibly tasty. We also split the mozzarella caprese. This was also very good, although we wished they had offered up more tomatoes. The prices: Muy bueno!! After spending all kinds of money while in Barcelona, it was great to have an excellent meal with a decent price!! On my next trip to Barcelona, this will be my first meal!

Yelp
The secret of a good pizza is always on the dough, no doubt about it. It is easier to get good quality toppings than to make a decent dough, and after that you have to cook it properly. It's an art. This guys have it. It seems is not easy to mix flour, water and yeast, because I have seen so many epic fails in the pizza business, even I can remember one that cooked the fought with butter, seriously?. We started with some melted provolone, a must if you like cheese, and we had pizzas as main dishes. Mine was the pizza diavolo with spicy salami. It had the spiciness I am looking for in this kind of pizzas and it was perfectly cooked. My partner got the Sofia Loren pizza, with fresh bresaola. A really good combination indeed, done with finesse. Service was on the spot. Not to fast not too slow. Price was also right, it was what I expect to pay for a really well pizza. I am definitively coming back, maybe with a jersey, because I found the AC too cold for me.

Yelp
A nice, but comfortable setting. We ordered Pizza because I wanted to see how true to Neapolitan they were. As far as pizza goes in the Southern (non-Italian) regions, this is pretty solid. From a critical perspective, I was expecting better flavour out of their dough. They are using Caputo flour, so no excuses. The only thing I can think is that they are not giving the dough enough time to allow the gluten to build up the flavours (12 - 24 hours). While I liked my Pizza, If I did this at home I would have added garlic to the base and shaken an oregano bushel over the top to finish off the flavour a bit more. But yes, I am being truly and overly critical. The end result is that I would come back for a few more tries of Pizza and I would be grateful that I was eating something pretty close to what pizza should be. Next go... Pasta!!!! Subnote: In case you are wondering about the price... here is what we had and the total. 1 Glass table wine 1 Bottle San Pellegrino 1 Margherita Pizza 1 Pizza with Aubergine (forgot which one) 1 boule of gelato 1 Baba al Rum (?) dessert 1 café expresso Total: €33

Yelp
This was truly delicious food--my son got a very tasty pizza, and the rest of us got delicious pasta served in a "basket" of parmesan cheese. [Note: the menu describes some of the pasta fresca as coming in "bags" of pasta. I thought it was a bad translation but they actually look like bags.] Anyway, the desserts were also great (we tried four, they were all delicious) and the service was excellent. They had menus in Italian, Catalan, Spanish, and English and there were lots of vegetarian options. Cloth napkins, too. All in all, quite yummy.

Yelp
It's a nice restaurant with home style Italian ambiance that's bright and cozy. We enjoyed our thin crust pizzas, pasta and wine. Food came out fairly quick and the portions are fairly generous. We had a seafood pasta that was made just right and tried three of their pizzas. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a little taste of Italy in Spain!

Yelp
A little gem on an old quiet street. The Very Best Pizza in Barcelona. They produce The Genuine Napolitanian Style Pizza , thin crust, freshest ingredients cooked in a brick oven. Very Small Restaurant but well worth it, the prices are average and the product is simply delicious.

Yelp
Really excellent food and service! These guys are from Napoli and some Of the staff speak only Italian it seems with very little Spanish. As I say amazing food. Pretty big but gets busy. They have pizzas and I suppose pasta, to take away. Open 7 days!

Yelp
Great Italian restaurant that is off the beaten path, no tourists here. So good, we ate there two nights in a row. Amazing pizza and seafood pasta dishes. For dessert, try the Baba. The hazelnut gelato is super too. Can't beat the service.

Yelp
Pizza crust was soggy but the sauce was very good. I know it's thin and neopolitan style but it was over the top. Pasta was very good. Service was a bit abrasive but my spanish and italian aren't very good.

Yelp
Great pizza. Seems to be very popular with locals so very busy. A bit noisy but great for a quick and reusable priced dinner.

Yelp
One of the best meals we had in Spain, especially after being tired of Tapas. Didn't love the pizza, but the homemade pasta Ina Parmesan shell and the goat cheese salad were great.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! And the team is so warm and friendly. The moment I walked in, I received a warm smile and friendly welcome. And when I sat down, my waiter carried on that warmth (such a great feeling especially for a tourist!) I ordered Rigatoni Bolognese - it's not on the menu but it was something I was craving - a glass of wine and some bread. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving pasta or pizza. (i hear their pizza is amazing but I haven't tried this yet)

Yelp
My wife and I ate here in October. We both ordered pizzas and it was our favorite meal in Barcelona. The restaurant was really clean and the service was fast. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great italian restaurant with a huge variety of delicious Pizzas, but you definitely have to make a reservation!

Yelp
This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Just as in Napoli! The waiters, the service, the food, everything as in Napoli. I arrived at the restaurant with my 3 kids at about 8:30 pm, which was perfect timing as the restaurant filled to capacity shortly thereafter...including a wait line. We did not have reservations, but I do recommend them. The pizzas were spectacular and the pasta alle vongole was perfect (just as in Italy). For dessert we ordered the calzone con cioccolato, which was to die for. As an Italian, I can vouch this is the true deal. The waiters spoke in Italian, however also in castellano and catalan. If youve never tried mozzarella di bufala I highly recommend it.

Yelp
YUM! Really delicious wood fired pizza and salads. Tasty house wine in a very Italian pizzeria like environment. This place hit the authentic pizza spot for me! I got here early and it was packed when I left.

Yelp
Fastest meal yet in Spain! Was just pizza though, but tastes great! No sangria, bummer.

Kristoffer Ø.

Yelp
Excellent pizza and pasta, it lived up to my exceptations in the food area but the chairs where very hard to sit on. Kind of like they did not want you to sit there and have a meal. I have a bad hip and asked for a pillow, no they did not have one or they did not understand me... - anyway next time i will bring one.

Yelp
We entered and were greeted with welcoming service. The staff is rather friendly but does not speak well English. To drink, we attempted to order some cold beers but the staff said they did not have cold beer. So we had sodas instead. We started with bruschetta, which was made with authentic Italian bread and olive oil. The tomatoes were finely chopped with the seeds removed to prevent the bread from turning soggy. We ordered one pizza and one pasta dish. For pasta, black truffle spaghetti with sausage. Absolutely delightful! The pasta was cooked al dente tossed in a light and tasty cream sauce. Inside were small pieces of black truffle mushroom and finely chopped ground sausage. Each bite was filled with flavor, but still tasted light. For pizza, we ordered a vegetarian pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. The pizza was topped with fresh vegetables. There was a bit too much cheese on the pizza but boy was it delicious. The service was great. I dropped my fork and the waiter quickly ran to get me another fork. I highly recommend la Bella Napoli for authentic Italian dining at a reasonable price with great service.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the artificially high review of this place. I came here twice, on two seperate occasions based on the reviews I read and both times I've been disappointed and will never be coming back. The first time I came here I was with a date, and we both had seafood dishes, and they were both very bland and generally disappointing. Thinking we just may have had bad luck with our choices I came back a couple of months later to order a pizza to go. BIG MISTAKE! When I asked him how long it would take and he said 5 minutes, I should have taken that as a hint. No half respectable italian place would make a pizza in 5 minutes! And when I got it, it looked and tasted EXACTLY like a 5 minute pizza. Soggy, chewy, with the meager toppings spread unevenly throughout and undercooked. I ordered olives on my pizza, and the olives were whole and with the pits in them! Seriously!. Not that it mattered much, the pizza was so thin and soggy as soon as you cut it into slices and tried to pick it up all of the toppings fell of. I am mad because i paid 12 Euros for a pizza that tasted WORSE than a 1.50 Euro frozen pizza I could have bought at the store. Be suspicious of this place's high rating! Avoid Avoid Avoid!
