Fantastic food at Aguas Calientes, as recommended by our guide when we toured Sacred Valley. Came to stay at the town for Machu Picchu (of course!), and ended up being pleasantly surprised by the food. It is in stark contrast to other restaurants catering to making a quick buck from the tourists. It is a fine restaurant that just happens to be in a tourist town. I had steamed trout while I friend had the alpaca steak both are excellent. The house wine is serviceable, and the wait time for food can be a tad long but not too bad, but the atmosphere is perfect for unwinding after seeing the specular Machu Picchu, drenched in isolated downpour. If I were to come back to this town, I will definitely be here for dinner again.

Such an amazing place with great decor (in some details as in a museum), a unique atmosphere and a courteous service. All dishes are top notch. Everything is fresh, the meat is so tender and juicy. Portions are large and generous. A superb gastronomy experiment combining Peruvian and European cuisine. The prices are fare. It is a real gem with 5-star food. Highly recommend to visit.

What a fantastic spot! From the moment you walk in, the place feels special. beautifully decorated with so much character and a really welcoming vibe. The team here is just amazing friendly, professional. The food was outstanding, and the beer hit the spot perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were generous too. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. A perfect mix of great food, great people, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend! 🍻✨

A pirate-themed restaurant in Agua Caliente? Why, yes. And much to my surprise, it was excellent. This was our first meal after nearly a week of trekking, so even a mediocre place would have been great, but the food here was delicious... on par with other casual restaurants in Lima and Cusco. And the desserts? Amazing. We arrived in a large group, but the drinks and food were served promptly and reasonably together. Great job. This place appears a bit unusual from the entrance, but don't let that deceive you. It's a truly good spot.

Very good experience at this restaurant. When you enter you directly feel the personal atmosphere of the place. The main course, salmon mango, was served with a lot of different sides. Although it looks big on the picture, I did not get any digestion issue which supports the food quality.

Indio Feliz has an ideal location off the loud path. It is located on a quiet alley right off the main street where all the restaurants are. My guide recommended this place and she was spot on. The food is a French-Peruvian fusion and they do it right. I enjoyed my alpaca skewers in a passion fruit sauce. It was DELISH!!! The service was also great and so was the ambiance. Great place to eat in Aguascaliente.

This restaurant is a must visit when in Aguas Calientes! It was some of the best food I’ve had in Peru. Affordable, beautifully plated, and delicious! We got multiple dishes and they all came out amazing. The quinoa soup was my favorite. Which is saying a great deal because everything was mouth watering. On top of the food being phenomenal, the atmosphere was lovely/cozy!

Love the food, and love the service. Everything is wonderful, especially the server, who wears glasses, is super friendly and hilarious. 😆
