Fine dining is sometimes a polarizing theme. Indulged on occasions to me is a fun thing to do. And here is the same concept to my mind. The decor and environment is elegant and not over the top. Table seating is comfortable and the staffs are polite and engaging.
We started with the bread. Lovely. Airy and chewy. Worked perfectly with the flavoured butter. Hokkaido scallop? Light and easy on the palate I felt. Loved the foie Gras. Beautifully seared with creamy melt in your mouth consistency, it's an excellent way to start dinner.
Mains were chicken, fish and lamb. The fish to me was the best. Nicely cooked, delicious soup, nice consistency of flesh. Lamb had a simple presentation but the juicy meat was perfectly paired with the accompanying condiments. I did find it a tad tough but generally deliciously chewy. Out of the three mains, the chicken I somehow found it quite average. Even with the sauce, the taste and flavor didn't really jump out at me.
As for dessert, quite a nice story with pieces representing the forest. I found it deliciously light and not overwhelmed by sugar. All in all a good meal indeed.
