Restaurant Botta

We arrived much later than our reservation and were almost turned away by the very antipathic Maitre d'Hotel, but Clara was graciously able to seat us by the window as soon as it was possible. Her and her colleagues, including Tabea made us feel at home and spoiled us with excellent recommendations and extra attention to our kids! We waited about 20 minutes for the food which was, without argument, extremely high Swiss quality - we had the Veal & Rösti and the the Rumpsteak....absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is very light and hospitable, every angle of the beautiful restaurant giving way to the spectacular mountains outside. The classy, Swiss modern deco of the place also adds to the experience...truly a must do if you want to top your Glacier 3000 experience off with a cherry!

We intended to dine at Restaurant Le 3 but mistakenly booked Restaurant Botta while booking through the link found at google maps. Restaurant Botta had a fine dining ambiance and true enough, the service and food quality were top notch. Of course, the price will be as expected. We were seated by the window and enjoyed their tartare de boeuf, rumsteak de boeuf, emince d’Audon and meringue glacee while taking in the views of Glacier 3000.

This is such an amazing restaurant and view that I am blessed to have experienced. Sitting and enjoying lunch at 3000m is truly magnificent. The restaurant staff were very attentive and really listened to our requests. We went for the onion soup with Parmesan crisps to start, then for mains we took a truffle ravioli and the beef filet, and for dessert we tried the trio. My favourite part of the whole meal was the trio of desserts and that’s shocking to me as I don’t really have a sweet tooth. Please try the strawberry ice cream I was obsessed. The onion soup was also very hearty and warming. I could have sat there all day long if I could.

A very clean and warm restaurant on the top of the 3000. The menu was really way to use online, and there was a good range of options on the menu. I had the burger, it was good and well made and cooked. The views are amazing!

Fantastic view and food. Very expensive but the self service restaurant downstairs is excellent value. You eat here if you want a higher class dining experience so value is somewhat irrelevant. Service is excellent, as is the selection of Swiss and European wines. Champagne Fondue is truly excellent, a very memorable lunch.

Great place and great ambience as the location is awesome food is decent

This is the most terrible service I have ever encountered. Bad service and arrogant staff. Although we had requested a table at the window, we were given a table in the center of the restaurant with bad lighting. We once again requested a table at the window side, as there was at least one free table. The service refused to give us that table, because a group of ten people had reserved (the tables were set for 3, 2 and 3 persons respectively and not for 10) and because „everyone wants a table at the window and it is impossible, you can come back at 14:00“. Luckily another table at the window got up at the same time so we asked for that table. However, we were told that the window seat was reserved. WHY ARE OTHER PEOPLE ABLE TO RESERVE WINDOW SEATS AND WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO??! After long discussions with the rude staff we finally got a table at the window; and the nightmare started. We waited 20 minutes for the menu and another 15 minutes until someone came to take the order (no beverages served to that point). This other service staff started to argue with us about the same issue (she first said we did not have a reservation, then she said we had one, but we didn’t state that we wanted a window table — pls see screen shot). Now, after feeding other reviews, it seems that this restaurant has problems with foreigners. If I could, I would rate 0 stars.

Very cool restaurant, eating at nearly 3000m is a bit mental but the views are incredible. The food is very good too, should try the rosti fries!

This is the seated dining option at the Glacier 3000 center where the sky walk bridge is located. It's on the top floor. Service is on point and the spectacular view is beyond gorgeous , just fabulous. The menu looks super with all kinds of Swiss specialties, even fois gras and veal with morels. However the food just isn't the greatest. My burger was dry but the "rösti fries" are delicious. The fois gras and the bread with nuts inside was great. Veal with morels was just ok. It's the best place to eat on the glacier unless you ski/walk over to the "Refuge L'Espace" or go all the way down to the restaurant in the parking lot.
