Google
starting off with the environment- we walked past about every day, and it was more of a place to chat and smoke. the service itself was a little bit tough to work with as tourists. the staff at first didn’t exactly notice us when we sat down - but they eventually did and got us a waiter who could speak english. being some of the only people eating- the food did take a while, but you have to understand that they had to cook the food. foodwise: tried frog legs for the first time! i’ll tell you it tastes like chicken. the watermelon and feta entree, wow 😱 my fav dish of the evening!! mains- all the steak is amazing- and the signature dish is the octopus (or squid i can’t remember) i personally didn’t love it, but it was still a good dish.

Google
Lovely place to catch a meal. I had this one marked from an earlier trip where I’d missed visiting but managed to catch it on this one. It was everything we’d expected. Great food, with a large selection to choose from. The burger was fantastic! Service was a little cold but nothing that ruined our experience. In all, I would recommend the place!

Google
Great meal and awesome time. Meet expatriot from Va, kevin and friend. Great conversations. Great local recommendations. If you heading to Paris stop and enjoy this place.

Google
Upstairs seating most quiet and comfortable, food was great. Splitting the bill was made easy, but they charged my card a second time, took days to sort out. Too clever with charging tech, cash better at this one.

Google
Classic local, delicious fresh H&C omelette and Norwegian salmon and creamy scrambled egg, excellent expresso, simple but very tasty after 24hr flight.

Google
Dreadful absolutely appalling disgusting AVOID. Steak was the toughest, most chewy, disgusting cut of beef I’ve ever tasted. I genuinely believe it’s either not beef or it’s an offcut. I’ve had thousands of steaks and this was the worst. I said I wanted it ‘medium rare’ and it came out still mooing. If we didn’t have to head to the train station straight away, I would have got them to redo it immediately. However, due to hunger and time I ate the most edible bits, but there wasn’t much. We showed the staff and asked for a refund for the disgrace of a steak, but they refused because I had eaten some of it and the potato on the side. They were rude, condescending, and clearly didn’t give a crap. The service was also horrendous, but I’m running out of words here. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

It was nice sitting outside and enjoying a cappuccino. Although I didn't try the food myself, my friends weren't impressed with it. They found the fries to be soggy and dry. Overall, it's an alright spot for a quick coffee date.

Google
Excellent Parisian bistro. Escargot, octopus and steak tartare were delicious. Fish and chips from the kid's menu was better than some fish and chips adult meals I've had in London. Highly recommended.

Yelp
My new favorite burger in Paris. Each bite was a manifestation of a new and unique flavor. The pickles were masterfully seasoned, and complemented the savory sauce. The burger itself, was a tad undercooked; and you should enjoy it that way. The brioche bun was perfectly toasted as were the fries.

Yelp
I've come here a few times for breakfast. Their americano, freshly squeezed orange juice and warm croissant are really amazing. It also has a nice spot on the corner. The service can be a little slow, but who's in a rush anyways ‍

Yelp
Père & Fils is really nice place to chill out with friends and enjoy drinks. Food that I ordered turned out to be average but service was very nice!

Yelp
Good for a drink and people watching, but that's about all. I was not a fan of the food in any way. I just wanted to have a glass of wine and a snack while relaxing after a day of walking around and exploring. I ordered the Beef Tartare and it tasted like a raw american hamburger patty. The fries that came with it were totally unnecessary as well. Would been mildly better with some thin toasted bread. Also when I asked for the check the waiter handed me the bill and an espresso, which I did not order. It was also on the bill...I said something and he just took my card and walked away. Came back with the unordered espresso charged. Although I didnt want to make a stink over 3 euro.

Yelp
The steak was very good, cooked just as I had asked, medium rare. Flavor was excellent, service was good.

Yelp
A bustling after work spot for drinks and catching up with friends for the locals, but also a perfectly good place to grab an 'early' dinner for the not-so-locals. My friend and I each had the baked chèvre appetizer (tasty!) and shared the morel penne (just ok). It was raining and we weren't in a rush to leave since we were sans umbrella, so I also ordered dessert. Unfortunately, the apple and pear crumble with ice cream wasn't very exciting. And I'm generally pretty easy to please in the dessert department... Absolutely a great place for people watching, as Rachel M. mentioned. Since the weather was nice (up until the aforementioned rain) we sat outside under the canopy and had a steady show. The waiter was friendly and was willing to humor me and speak French, but his english was just fine. If you find yourself in the 2nd Arr. and need some refreshment from shopping, or art gazing, stop by for a drink and an appetizer, and enjoy watching the world go by!

Yelp
The location of this cafe is really good, located on the busy rue montmartre and the patio of the cafe is cozy and nice. I found the tables a bit small for a full on meal but it was manageable. I got the 15€ menu with an entree+plat. entree: a cup layered with avocado, shrimp, cocktail sauce, and pamplemousse -- this was definitely my favorite dish. The combination of the ingredients was amazing and it felt very light and refreshing. plat: I ordered the blanquette de veau avec riz basmati. it was a cream based sauce with pieces of veal served with basmati rice. I've had this dish before at other restaurants and this was definitely below average. It didnt taste creamy it just had a really weird salty taste and the pieces of veal were really chewy. My friend ordered a steak with potato gratin and a creamy vinagrette sauce. This dish was really really good especially the potato gratin. It was weird because they served me my entree at the same time they served my friend's dish, so by the time i had finished my entree, my friend had already finished his meal. We had to wait 15 more mins before my main course came so the timing was awkward. Anyways, this restaurant was pretty good, some of their other dishes like the salad looked amazing.

Yelp
A lovely place to people watch in Paris, in the 2nd arr. The menu is extensive, as is the wine list, and the price are very reasonable for its location. It's off a bustling circle full of other cafes and mid to high-end shops. My nicoise salad was generously portioned and perfectly seasoned - the vinaigrette was light, but the ingredients fresh and flavorful. There's definitely something to be said about actually getting to taste your food without it drowning in sauce. The restaurant itself is sizable, with a large sidewalk cafe area, and a fair amount of seating inside as well. It's a nice place to order a few carafes of vino, hang out and people watch with friends. The only downsides? Table groupings tended to be a bit tight, and depending on the luck of the draw, you might get stuck next to some smokers. Somewhat unpleasant if you're trying to enjoy the atmosphere outside.

Yelp
Omolette and cafe. Delightful service and cozy seating. We found this cute little restaraunt while looking for a different one, glad we did because we loved it.

Yelp
We went here twice when recently in Paris for a week--once for a quick snack on a weekend and once for a mroe extensive lunch on a weekday. Both visits were marked by good food friendly service. The lunch crowd was all French (except for us) and heavy on business people. Try the grilled chevre and honey.

Yelp
This place exemplifies middling Old Paris cuisine and its combination of overpriced, unhealthy, and bland. I'm sure you can get something better, like a salad, but my friend and I both had meat and fish plats that were nearly flavorless, and the bill came out to 25 euros each for lunch. But it's a beautiful terrace in a beautiful square, so just go for coffee or a drink.

Yelp
We wanted to go to another redstaurant but finally ended up at this one. The food was very good and way enough (appertizer: hot goat cheese with salad, salmon; main course: steak). Took a while to get the attention of the waiter. Big problem in fench restaurants: if you want to sit outside, EVERYONE is smoking non-stop.
