Restaurant Café Viejo

This place is my favorite place in puerto viejo. Best food you can get. You can have a memorable dinner here, it’s worth every penny. All ingredients are the fresher. Great environment in the restaurant. This time I ordered to go, but I make sure I visit this place every time I come to Puerto Viejo. They have an online menu, what you see on the pictures is what you’re getting

This place was amazing! I asked for a lobster the way I wanted it and the chef made some magic happen. Rey was the best server, so nice and great to talk to. Will absolutely come back here whenever I come back to Puerto Viejo ❤️‍🔥

LOVED our meal here. Our server, Yuli, was the best. The food was very delicious and came out very quick. Every bite of food was very tasty. I had wanted to get dessert but was way too full! Next time :) Highly recommend coming here.

We had a delicious pizza dinner here. The service was quick and attentive. The pizza was thin crust, which we like, and exactly what we ordered. We dined on a Sunday evening and it was packed with diners. So it is popular. The menu looked delicious and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. I had a Pina Colada and it was one of the best tasting I have ever had! The drink was also larger than any I have ever had anywhere, and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. I would definitely recommend dining here, and I’m guessing that the other cocktails should be just as enjoyable.

WOW! The food here is truly incredible. Pizza, pasta, salad — doesn’t matter. Can’t go wrong. I ordered a dairy free pasta and Prosecco and sat on the street and tbh, it was out of this world. Highly recommend!

Wonderful dining experience. Manuel, our server was very courteous, kept our table clean between courses, and answered all of our questions with no rush. Along with the great service, it provides a beautiful, cozy atmosphere with fantastic food. Flavor and presentation were spot on! 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a good spot to eat! First off the Food was delicious, everyone at our table finished their dish. I do not usually eat pasta but the food was very authentic and the service was exceptional. Our server Manuel went above and beyond for our group of 7. We will definitely be coming back to eat here.

We came to Puerto Viejo to celebrate our honeymoon and Cafe Viejo did NOT disappoint. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere were all amazing. Julie was the absolute best and we will definitely be back.
