Delightful restaurant with quality food in a beautiful spot overlooking the town/bay (seated outside) giving good service. The wine was lovely. I had the Robero del Duero which complemented the steak stack beautifully. The steak was tender & juicy with a delicious sauce. Not the cheapest eatery in town but definitely worth the experience.

The service from the woman was quite rude. They served us croquetas which were still frozen. They offered to change them, the next ones were okay but not particularly warm. The rice was overcooked and the fish dry and tasteless. When the bill arrived they charged us for something we didn't order and for the croquetas wich were supposed to be on the house. Overall the place is nice but service and food not worth it.

Found Casa Nun after wandering the beautiful streets of Cadaqués one August summer evening. Very welcoming and a lovely setting overlooking the harbour and sea front. Food was superb: the paella was fantastic. Would highly recommend it.

Very bad experience. I had table reservation for 2 people in this restaurant for a dinner. We came to the restaurant 5 mins earlier , told that we have a reservation for 22:00 o’clock told the name and the person checking the list told to the waiter bring us to the x table. Let me mention, they had 4 tables empty including our, French girls who were in a queue just in front of us who came with no table reservation (as we heard the conversation being beside them) was set down on the appropriate table in the middle of the terrace with no problem. Then waiter brought us to the table which was in the totally back of the terrace in the corner between the walls and on one side full on open door to the kitchen where people inside being loud, running around, busy. As I saw location of this table, surprised that they even put the table in a place like that and expecting set people there, I asked if we can sit on different table for very understandable reasons, as they had few other empty tables set for 2 people ready. Waiter said no, we asked why is that, as now, after girls that were in front of us were set down on one of the 4 empty tables and not counting the one that we were allocated to, they still have another 2 empty tables with a nice view in the terrace, he said they are with reservations, we said, ok, but we have reservation too, and we came first at the end, he didn’t have an answer and ran inside the restaurant, he came back in a minute and said they can not change the table and still didn’t have an explanation why. We were surprised and very confused of this situation. Obviously we left, as you wouldn’t want spend your money in the place or more so the service like that.

Was here a few years ago, but we always compare the rest of what we find to this place. The pesto was amazing, and I can count this place as one of the high points in turning my kids into down-to-earth culinary gourmets. The gazpacho was pretty good too.

Yelp
Nestled a bit off the water of the seaport town of Cadaques on the Costa Bravo sits the wonderful Casa Nun. On a sunny day, outdoor tables render a beautiful view of whitewashed buildings and azure, boat-dotted waves. Here on a semi-private tour of the haunts of Salvador Dali, Diane and I settled in for a great unrushed rustic lunch. A fresh tuna-crested salad of tomatoes & greens, with arugula, carrot splinters, and red and green peppers, was delicious and simply excellent. Hot and velvety Pumpkin & Carrot Soup came next, enhanced by nice crusty French bread and rich butter. Tasty Grilled Sardines were mild and not salty, while Grilled Seabass and Grilled Salmon were both moist and delightful, accompanied by an assortment of cooked vegetables. Then came a surprise! Rather than opting for a fancy and tempting decadent dessert, I elected to have a pear. One of the two massive pears that arrived unadorned on a simple plate was the sweetest and juiciest I have ever tasted! A knife went through it just like passing through soft butter. Sated, I gave away the other gorgeous fruit to our tour leader. Service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance cozy and romantic! Portions were large, too! What else could one need for a true five-star dining experience?

Yelp
Very good service. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The food is just what you would expect from a small mediterranean restaurant: great taste and reasonable rations.

Yelp
Order from the menu of the day. Gazpacho was delicious. Can't Waite to go back charming location with view of the water. Very delicious food with good pricing.

Yelp
Loved Casa Nun. Teeny tiny restaurant overlooking Cadaqués Harbor in a remote corner. Owner came out to greet us and seated us on beautiful outside deck. He explained the English menu. I had the fish soup (best in Cadaqués). My wife had the tomato/ mozzarella covered with with a family dressing. Both so good!! Then she had the fillet of beef with bernaise sauce and I had the lamb chops. Yummy. House wine was excellent.

Yelp
Rainy night, and the team at this place were so, so, nice and gave us a delcious meal and wine at a very competitive price. The fish soup is the best I have had. I will go back again and again.
