Had lunch at Casa Pilar in Cadaqués and loved it. Cozy, family-run place with a warm atmosphere and a normal service. We had the menu del día, which included delicious starters, fresh seafood paella, and a homemade dessert, all generous portions and full of flavor. Not fancy, but authentic and charming. Highly recommended for a relaxed, high-quality meal away from touristy spots.

The best paella we’ve ever had (and we’ve had plenty)! Such a warm and friendly service, fair prices and the food was delicious. We had a three course dinner for 30 €. Ask for the table on the terrace and you’ll have a lovely experience.

We know someone who was born and raised in Cadaqués, and when we asked her, “Where can we eat the best Paella?” she immediately said: “Go to Casa Pilar. That’s where the locals go for a good Paella.” Since then, every time we’re in Cadaqués, we make sure to return to Casa Pilar for a delicious, authentic meal. Here’s our suggestion: Start with a Sangria and their refreshing Gazpacho Casero, then enjoy either the Paella de Mariscos or the Arroz Negro con Mariscos, and finish with a classic Crema Catalana or a smooth Panna Cotta. You won’t be disappointed!

Truly delicious food. We had gazpacho with hard boiled egg in it, so simple and it gave my goosebumps, I’m not kidding. Staff amazing and welcoming. Will be back

We had an amazing lunch with a delicious paella marinera and salmorejo! The service was so friendly. Nice atmosphere having the lunch in the little cute balcony. We will go back.

Casa Pilar is one of the very best in Cadaqués. The dinner menu for 30 Euro each is very generous, with superb food (especially the arroz de mar with squid ink). The house wine was excellent and the service had kind and golden. A laid back family restaurant, highly recommended.

The location is not sea front but the food and the service were tops. Seafood is a must here.
