The food was good but not spectacular. The atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the service, later in the evening, toward closing time, was very poor. The worst part, we were given a different dessert than what we had ordered and told that it was a tart... I don't know what else to say about this or how to feel about this. I guess it's just plain rude to lie about your dish like this. Maybe you thought we wouldn't notice? Hopefully it was just a one-off. Other than that, we're just two Americans enjoying our vacation across Europe trying to be as friendly, curious, and considerate as possible.

Worst dining experience in Dijon. Do not come to this restaurant! (Try Le 314 which is better quality.) The restaurant may have gotten good ratings a few years ago but they got arrogant and the quality went down significantly. The owner also seems very insecure and attacks all the poor reviews instead of trying to improve, which is why this restaurant will never be great. I'm sure he'll have something nasty to say about my review. The food took 1 hour to arrive, the salad was rotten with brown, wilted leaves and the food was cold and mediocre at best. The meat dish was too salty and poorly prepared, no care or pride in the quality of their food. This could have been somewhat forgiven if the service wasn't horrendous. The waiters look angry and don't want to be there. It seems they're prioritizing profit over quality and service.

Google
3.5 really. Food was good but definitely not 5 star knock-it-out-of-park standard. We ordered a set menu plus an extra main but nothing stood out for me as “I’d make sure I come back”. Service however was fairly limited due to the lack of staff - 2pax covering both inside and outside seating seem to be a stretch for sure. If you’d like a table outdoors make sure you book as otherwise only indoor seating provided.

Great experience, we came in without reservation and they accommodated us instantly (around 7:15pm) Food is awesome, real and hones french cuisine well executed, lots of flavour and high quality. Restaurant has a good ambiance, without pretentiousness, focused on the quality of the cuisine. Will definitely recommend andncome back.

Got here right at 7pm. We didn’t have a reservation and were seated right away. It fills up fast, so we recommend coming right when they open for a chance to get seated. We highly recommend getting the Léon-style Bauf Bourguignon. The beef was so tender and succulent. The sauce had a lot of depth and was well seasoned. Highly recommend that dish.

I ordered the Gigolette de Volaille aux Morillese et Chooux Vert and Beef Bourguignon, eager to try the latter dish in the Burgundy region. However, I was unexpectedly served Rognon de Veau en Persillade —an entirely different dish made with veal kidney, which is quite exotic from where I’m from. When I brought this up to the staff, they claimed that I had ordered Rognon instead of Beef Bourguignon, which seemed completely absurd because I repeated Beef and Chicken when I confirmed with the staff. I have no idea how that mistranslation happened, and the situation left me feeling uncomfortable, almost as if my order had been dismissed or the way I spoke English was misunderstood due to some racial bias. Does Beef Bourguignon sound like Rognon? I'm curious. This mix-up made for a disappointing experience.

Staff was quite rude/uninterested. I notified a waiter that our table was quite wobbly, he simply said "ok" and never returned. Ignored my girlfriend ordering drinks. We were served stale bread, while service had just started, so we got yesterday's leftovers. The meat was excellently cooked but otherwise this was a disappointing experience.

Our choices was a bit heavy for a lunch. Keep your expectations low and you can enjoy a good traditional meal.

Yelp
By far me & my friend's favorite spot so far while touring across france. The food was incredible, the staff were kind and trying to keep up with language barriers, but were overall very efficient and kind. The inside was very fun, with lots of the decorations being about wine!

Yelp
Wonderful place! I had a starter is snails, which were fab. BF had poached eggs burgundy. I had the lamb shank and BF had beef bourguignon. I added fried potatoes to my dish, and BF had mashed potatoes. Garlic seemed to be in each, which was wonderful. Add in crapes suzette for desert....life is good!

Yelp
This is a really nice traditional Burgundian place in Dijon. We came here for our last night of dinner and were not disappointed. I had the traditional dish of eggs poached in a red wine sauce and scallops. The eggs were rich but still light and the scallops had a really nice topping with them. I'd definitely recommend a visit but call ahead for reservations as they were pretty full!

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Dijon!!! Small and quaint. Quiet and pleasant. Came for dinner with 2 friends. We did not have reservations, but we were able to get seated right away at 7 PM when it opened. I would recommend reservations because it is small and very popular! Servers were friendly and accommodating. If you know anything about Dijon, you know it's in Burgundy wine region (aka Pinot Noir lovers this is for you) so a bottle of fabulous wine was ordered. It was so good we had another. I will post a photo of the wine. They had options to do entree, plate, and dessert if desired and all 3 of us did because Dijon is also known for its gastronomy. (You got to go all out.) I ordered an egg with burgundy sauce which was 100% YUM and so flavorful. I got filet of beef with ratatouille for the plate. Also delicious. Beef was tender. I ordered medium rare and it was perfect. For dessert I got a fruit and ice cream dish. It was light and refreshing after a heavier dinner. I wouldn't order the fruit again for dessert (just because I prefer the chocolate route). My friend let me try her salted caramel dish and it was amazing!!! I loved this place and highly recommend.

Yelp
Very amazing food! Food was authentic, and the people very friendly. The chef takes great pride in his food, and the local wines are fantastic here. It was an excellent experience. The food was very high quality and expertly prepared. Great times to be had here.

Yelp
Great food, very local feeling and tasting. Two people in the kitchen and two people waiting on a full house does not happy customers. Be patient and you'll be rewarded with tasty, lovingly prepared regional foods and treats.

Yelp
good food, good service, helpful and friendly staff all made for a very pleasant evening on the sidewalks of Dijon. An excellent stop for an excellent local meal when in Dijon - Thanks, Leon!
