Restaurant Chez Victor (St-Paul)

Great restaurant walking distance from the old Quebec area. Big menu with lots to choose from. Staff members welcoming and friendly. Food is fresh, hot and tasty. Highly recommended burgers!

Our concierge at Hotel des Coutellier recommended we come here for a later afternoon meal. We'd traveled from Maryland and were very hungry. Chez Victor did not disappoint! The atmosphere was homey and lovely and the service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed some local beers and got delicious burgers. The server even gave us a free side of poutine, which was the first time we'd had it-delicious! I could have eaten here many more times, but we had so many other restaurants to try in Quebec. We will definitely come back here if we have the opportunity to visit Quebec City again!

I went here for dinner during my Quebec city trip with my friend. We went here on recommendation of someone. The restaurant have a very nice ambience. Staff is super friendly. We were very hungry when we got here. We started with fried pickles. They were good. My friend ordered one of the poutines with meat. I tried the vegeterian gnocchi one. I think it was confusion on my part that I thought as it is poutine it will be fries mixed with gnocchi and other toppings. Overall it tasted good. Serving size was pretty big as well. I was not able to finish it. Overall experience was nice.

The food was delicious and hit the spot after a day of train travel. We dined outside and had kind and speedy service. 5/6 of our family ordered and loved different burgers. Our youngest ordered the kids’ chicken strips, and they were tasty.

Food was amazing. Server barely came to our table, no water for 10 minutes and had to find her at the bar for ketchup. Overall she wasn’t friendly when she was at our table. It wasn’t a busy night either. However, the food was amazing and made up for the service.
