Restaurant Cléo

The food was delicious and the service (at the beginning) was very pleasant and friendly. Thanks for the very good wine recommendation. Why we give only 4* for service: Probably as the restaurant was not anymore busy, the service staff was al most disappeared. No body filled up the glasses anymore (wine and water) and we waited for 15min at our empty cheese plates. For a 5* Hotel and pricing above 100-150€ pP is it not really acceptable. At least we had a nice food experience.

Excellent tasting menu, expertly prepared with interesting combination of flavors. Short, but confident wine list. Impeccable and friendly service. Seabream main dish was truly amazing. The only complaint was maybe the portions of the main dishes could be a little smaller. Reservation required. Highly recommended!

I came here more than once, excellent quality of food! However a bit lack of choices, I struggled to get a red meat (like beef, veau, lamb etc); I’m not complaining, my low temp cooked poultry was excellent! Fish with truffle sauce, oyster mushroom was also delicious. Very much enjoyed it, I miss a bit the 2 course or 3 course menu before. Overall great service great food! (Excellent sourdough as well)

Booked for my birthday lunch. Online booking was very easy and quick. Good experience and yummy meals. Well presented and good portions. Unfortunately the chef didn't visit us. The fish and chips was too salty and nothing special, same as the average English takeaway meal. No birthday surprise as well, even a candle. Shame. Anyway, fairly good service and happy memories.

The sofas and chairs here are so comfy! The servers were kind and knowledgeable, and the every dish was amazing (even the desserts).

I was looking for a restaurant with healthy and nourishing food, in particular offering vegetables and fish and Google maps recommended Restaurant Cleo. It’s a very nice place located on the premises of a hotel , clean, nicely designed. The waitress was super nice, prompt and she explained everything in details in English about the menu. The food was interesting and tasted good. The mini appetizer was my favorite: sweet mashed potatoes with cumin- well balanced, simple and felt very nutritious. The main appetizer was butternut squash. The main dish was fish with oyster mushrooms. My only complaint which is why I give it 3 star is the fact that there was way too much butter in every dish. You know how they say that of course restaurant food taste good because they put tons of butter on everything? Well in this restaurant you could really see that. I picked out the veggies and fish out of it. I also wish they would have more vegetarian and vegan choices. Regarding prices - they leaned more towards high rather than low. But overall it was a very nice experience, the food I ate was delicious and I do recommend the place if you are nearby.

The food here was excellent. The white asparagus starter was very good but outshined by the incredible langostine. The turbot was very nice with a delicious cream sauce and chanterelles. My wife's chicken supreme was incredibly tender. Very enjoyable dinner. My one criticism would be the seemingly high markup on wine. The cost of the dinner was relatively high but the quality justified it for us. It felt very welcoming for fine French dining.

The ambiance was beautiful. We ate at the lounge area as we didnt have reservations. It is a small restaurant inside a hotel. the staff was great and the food was amazing! We had the octopus, duck, fish and spaghetti bolognese which wasn't on the menu but they made for my 4 year old daughter. Everything was so delicious and beautifully presented.

The restsurant is in a hotel. The ambiance was very nice. We celebrated a birthday with the 5 course tasting menu. Each dish was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend you come and dine here.

Yeah, pretty much as good as it gets. Very nice small Restaurant in a 5 Star Hotel. Great food, great service. Had two flawless dining experiences there and can recommend it fully. Heck, I think they even offer fantastic value for money (given the level of cooking that's going on here). Reservations are generally recommended, even for lunch on weekdays.

Service is amazing. Breakfast in the morning. Fresh eggs. Eggs Benedict and much much more. I little disappointed with our hotel without having the spa but we would definitely come back.

We ate here at recommendation of our hotel. Small restaurant in boutique hotel near invalides. Prices on the high side but the food is very French traditional and well worth it. The wine list has many selections across the wine regions at various price points. We had a great rose from Loire Valley region. Two of us had the best Gazpacho I've ever tasted. Not tomato based as in states. Cream based and delightful. For main dishes we each had something different all of it delicious and well presented. Sorbet for dessert were good but a bit licorice based. We've been pleasantly surprised that most restaurants have wait staff that speak English in Paris. Cleo is no exception and menu has English "subtitles" too! Only criticism is long wait between main course and dessert although all the tables were filled by the time we were leaving. If your looking for a quaint, centrally located restaurant and opportunity to experience fine French cuisine, try Cleo's.
