We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose the tasting menu. Honestly, the starter exceeded my expectations — eggplant rolls, boletus croquettes, and another dish of our choice. The food was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of flavour. The service was efficient, attentive, and friendly. We were lucky to be served by the owner, Celia, who took wonderful care of us. The price of the tasting menu includes two drinks, and we truly felt well looked after throughout the evening. To top it all off, when dessert was served, they brought us two carnations to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended!

We where welcomed by this Mexican waiter, such a nice guy, so friendly and helpful. He spoke even a bit German and Dutch, explained everything, took his time, the food was amazing , simpel ingredients but really fresh and nice dishes .

We spent 6 days in Valencia over the Marathon week and ate every day at Copenhagen and loved it. From the special 3 course lunch menu for €13.50 to the dinner and tapas treats it was a delight to work our way through the menu and enjoy the delicious food. Stand outs for me were the Green Curry, the hamburger and the “chicken” sandwich. There’s something for everyone and the food is innovative, full of flavour and very cleverly done so much so that you could easily take an ardent non vegetarian person there and they’d have an enjoyable meal. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and eager to offer suggestions. Their English was way better than our dodgy Spanish! The service was always super fast and we were always impressed how quick the meals would come out once you ordered. Plenty of good house wine and beer to choose from. Book a table online, particularly for dinner as it is often very full. Prices were very reasonable. A must visit for a vegetarian in Valencia.

We had the best meal of our trip here. The food was tasty, the service was incredible and they were extremely accommodating of our dietary requirements (nut allergy). The staff were all really friendly and the set menu was great value. Would throughly recommend.

A must if you dig vegetarian/vegan food and are in the area. The starters are amazing, the croquetas won't disappoint you!! The staff is super friendly and professional, let them be your guide because they are always on point. Kudos to Nico 4 recommending the bravas and the best wine to pair with my dinner! I am a sweet potato hater and now I'm a believer! 100% would recommend!

im not vegan but love trying vegan restaurants. this place was super cute and light. we tried a bunch of items: vegan croquettas, dips w crudite/pita, copenhagen burger, thai noodles w vegan shrimp, and chocolate coulant. our favorite was definitely the thai noodles those had great flavor. i also loved the dips starter with the crunchy dippers and crudite. dessert was delicious as well.

Best meal I had the whole trip! Amazing food, you won't miss the meat! Most of the service was good, did feel a lack of responsiveness from some staff (sat by one staff and then 2 others worked on getting orders and serving)

You will step inside and feel like you are in a garden of Eden with veggies as fresh and more innovative than anything we have found in Valencia! The menu of the day is simply an incredible deal (served for lunch Monday through Friday). For 11,90 you will be more than satisfied with quality, full of yummy variety of foods and in love with Copenhagen even more than your first impression when you stepped inside the door! Service is ALWAYS top notch. Value incredible. Setting is beautiful and oh my the food. A great variety all prepared as vegetarian but also a lot is vegan. They have a comfortable dining room and an outside patio on the sidewalk. If you are in Ruzafa or even on the other side of the city, make your way to the best garden of goodness around.

Vegetarian restaurants here in the land of jamon, meat and cheese are hard to find. In my review of La Lluna, I was so pleased to realize that there is a cool vegetarian niche here in Valencia. I have also found a small "health foods" market very close by, and noted that they had some items that I had not seen in the supermarket. (Stay tuned for an upcoming review on that if I like it!) The Copenhagen, though, is a real treasure. Beginning with attentive wait staff, Sooze (my dinner companion) and I reviewed the menu(s) -- one in English and one in Spanish -- and agreed that the main courses were awesome and did not need to hide behind a first course. What a great choice, because the meals that we ordered were delightfully filling and loaded with complementary flavors. Let me also say that the portions were perfect, and as we saw other tables completing the traditional 3.5 course meal (first course, entree, dessert, then coffee and maybe a small liqueur), it was clear that the mountains of food on the plates would have been overwhelming. I ordered the "Copenhagen Burger" and Sooze had the "Hindú Curry" and both were hits. My burger was a multi-layered stack of delicious... an egg, greens, an incredible vegetable burger, cheese, a hand-crafted sauce, and all atop a wide wedge of grilled potato. The curry that my dinner-mate ordered was also delicious, and both were seasoned enough but in a way that enhanced the food without providing all of the flavor. Dessert was equally amazing, and I ordered the white chocolate (cloud from heaven) mousse, which sat on the plate with a small scoop of the most intensely flavored smooth raspberry sorbet I have ever tasted. Sooze's chocolate hazelnut tarte was beautiful and intense, and both desserts were completed with a fan/sail/billboard of corresponding chocolate. Clearly, I have to go back. After a somewhat rough day, the company and the food really gave my day a much higher note. Oh, and two weeks ago, the owners opened up a secondary restaurant as well... Malmö, which is also vegetarian. I have the schedule, and I am saving my pennies for visit!

The pistachio, strawberry and avocado salad with flaked Gran Padano cheese tasted even better than it sounds. One of the very best meals of my almost 68 years.

We were lucky to get a table walking in on a cold, rainy night. The cool design of this restaurant caught our eye in addition to the many vegetarian food options which was a welcome change. Food and service were enjoyable with fun beer/wine options!

Creative and distinctive vegetarian food for all tastes, in a refreshing and attractive setting. Good range of international cuisine, and carnivores in party were not disappointed. Logistically unfortunately they didn't cope well with our large party (pre-booked), we had a long wait to eat, and the layout of long thin tables wasn't ideal. I would be more likely to return with a smaller group and there is lots on the menu I'd look forward to exploring further

As I am not a vegetarian this place was too expensive for me. I paid 18€ for a small dish and a drink. And even I didn't like this dish. Looks good but wasn't really tasty or something special. Maybe this place really is better for real vegetarians. But stuff and place are good:))

This review will not be long because I am salivating too much just thinking about this place. It is amazing, and you do not have to be a vegetarian to enjoy it. Try the burger at night (yes... vegetarian and exceptional), with a Chufa beer.

It's in a great location. Ambiance is clean and sophisticated. Prices are very reasonable. Employees are friendly and speak English... BUT the food lacks flavor and the menu is unimaginative (veggie burgers, pastas...). I do have to say that I have been spoiled by all the great veggie and vegan restaurants in California so maybe I'm being too harsh. Would I go back to this place if it were in California? No way. Would I recommend it to someone traveling to Valencia and in need of vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free meal? Absolutely.

I wish there were more than 5 stars for this gem of a restaurant. As a vegan, it has been very difficult to find nutritious, flavorful, unique meals while living and traveling in Spain. Copenhagen has just the thing! The food is freshly prepared with distinct flavors, unique sauces, from a fusion of a variety of origins. I believe it is a prerequisite to be friendly, knowledgeable, and warm to work at this establishment. I have yet to interact with an employee who did not have a permanent smile on their face and who was not eager to assist me. Ask for Israel if you desire amazing service and don't want to feel like the only vegan walking the streets of Valencia. In addition to a vegan, he is an animal activist, speaks a good amount of english, and provides service with a smile :) The owner, Celia, is wonderful as well. Best food in Valencia and my favorite restaurant in all of Europe! Don't forget to try the dessert- the homemade vegan "ice creams" will keep you coming back for more! Be sure to make a reservation (especially on the weekends or after 9 pm).
