We had dinner at De Stove and really enjoyed the cozy, peaceful atmosphere — a perfect spot for a relaxed evening in Bruges.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and our coats were taken, which felt very welcoming. The restaurant has a charming, intimate feel that makes it a lovely place to unwind.
We ordered mostly seafood, as we’d heard great things about it, plus a carpaccio to start. The shrimp croquette was definitely the highlight — crisp, flavorful, and delicious. The sole was beautifully cooked, and the butter sauce was a real indulgence. The sea bass was prepared nicely as well, though it was a bit lighter in flavor compared to the other dishes.
Service was friendly and attentive throughout, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
