We only stopped for a quick bite but we were very impressed with the food!

Stayed here for a 3 night weekend break with my Mother.|Our original flight from the UK was cancelled, but we arrived a lot later than scheduled, appx 9pm in the evening.|We had a very warm welcome by Laura in the restaurant, who was very charming, professional and hospitable, she showed us to our room above the restaurant.||*Please note that to access to the rooms you need to use the outside stairs which are quite steep. Not a problem for us, but for anyone traveling with elderly companions/ young children, this may be a concern.||We were staying in the Spring room, which is a twin room with direct access to the terrace.|The room was spotlessly clean, and well presented, a lovely shower, with good pressure and temperature, good facilities in the room such as a coffee maker, kettle and small fridge, also plenty of electrical outlets.|The bed was extremely comfortable, and the towels soft and fluffy!||Breakfast was provided next door by Evi, who has only just opened her new Cafe with her partner. Very nice choices for breakfast, and great coffee!|We wish her all the success for the coming season. ||Lisse itself is a small, charming town, perfect for visiting the nearby Keukenhof Gardens, and flower farms.|Great transport links via bus to Schipol airport, and other nearby towns.|We visited the city of Leiden by bus (30 mins) which has all the charm of Amsterdam, without the 1000s of tourists!||We did not eat at the restaurant during our stay, but would love to visit next time for sure. The menu is fresh and seasonal, and has a great local reputation.||Thank you for a perfect weekend .

A restaurant tucked away nicely in lisse. With a well curated menu I had the pleasure of trying their fresh oysters 🦪 , their duck as an appetizer and the ribeye for a main course. Added points for exquiste presentation, although im a man with a knack or bigger portion, especially at such prize points. Had the cottage cheese pancakes to share and they didn’t disappoint.

We came with some friends for 3 night stay and had a truly wonderful time. Ate at the restaurant the first night and what an experience. Great friendly and attentive staff. The manager was friendly welcoming and extremely helpful regarding local points. Where to get a bus even. Rooms are clean well appointed the breakfast baskets just full of goodies. No "Full English" here thank goodness. The square in the evening is a delight. Park your car, walk, cycle or take a bus. By far the most relaxing way to get around. Lovely to see the mum's on the school run on bikes. Not a "Chelsea Tractor" in sight!!

Four of us visited towards the end of April and had an excellent stay here. It was very clean and our rooms were at the front looking out on to the lovely little village square. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and approachable at all times, giving us helpful tips for our visit to keukenhof. The breakfast hamper was good quality and delicious - we especially liked the fresh orange juice and warm bread and croissants but it was all delicious. It was a bit too cold to eat it on the terrace when we were there but it didn’t matter at all as there was a good sized table in the room with chairs. The restaurant below the rooms was very good indeed and we ate there on our first night. An excellent stay and ideally placed for a visit to keukenhof (15 mins walk).

very beautiful location, just in the middle of town, there was a public jazz concert in the evening. The place is a typical dutch "dorp": quiet and clean. The b&b has also a restaurant on the basement. The room was also clean and cosy (not that big, it's a B&B) with a terrace. I am satisfied

This lovely spot in the centre of Lisse had a very comfortable room and a top notch patio space which we enjoyed. The 'socially distanced' breakfast was brought up each morning in a basket with so many options. All delicious. And it was all really affordable. Great restaurant downstairs too. All in all it was a tremendous stay.

Yelp
What an evening! My birthday dinner started by being greeted promptly (reservations recommended), and then met by owner Ton. I opted for the 4-course "chefs surprise" dinner, and after making sure I had no issues with any type of food...the show began! I won't dive into much of the details (your "surprise" might be different from mine), but each course was delivered with a vivid explanation from the Chef, and our Server. The tastes were so well blended, and unique...when was the last time you saw pomegranate bits on a dinner plate? Truly an outstanding experience, one that will not be forgotten.

Yelp
Stopped in on our bike ride up to Keukenhof from Leiden. Lisse is pretty dead for restaurants, despite being in the middle of Keukenhof's season. Staff was friendly, but food was fairly mediocre - not simple, but not complex, not great, but not bad. Beer selection was pretty sparse for a Dutch restaurant. Atmosphere was sort of stuffy upscale - seems to cater to the tastes of retired tourists, but seems a little out-of-place for a rural village in Holland. Prices were steep given the quality of the food, but in line with restaurants in other tourist areas of Holland.
