The best thing was the privileged location with the beautiful views. Food was good and the whole menu sounded amazing to me, however my partner is vegetarian and they had absolutely nothing on the menu he could eat. We were very excited to go and we were counting on the main offer being very seafood heavy (which I love) and having some basic vegetarian options. The service was really good and they made a salad with fresh ingredients, but it was a very disappointing meal for him overall due to the lack of options, which in a way hindered my experience. For full transparency, this was a couple of years ago so it is possible the number of vegetarian options has increased since, but I wanted to flag it so that you can check it beforehand instead of learning about it on the spot. Desserts are great though, so hopefully you wouldn’t leave hungry anyway! If you and your entire party love seafood, this is the place to go!

Best restaurant during my trip in Ibiza. The food is great with an incredible view over “Cala d’hort” we waited 20 min to get a table but it definitely worth it. We had the best paella ever, and amazing fried sardines. And special mention to the service: for a mistake of them, they gifted a portion of fried calamari and two glass of wine. If you’re lucky and you have the opportunity, go there!

We had a delightful meal here for our last night in Ibiza. The views of the sunset were incredible and the Lobster was probably the best I’ve eaten, and came with an egg. Our waiter was speedy and efficient and even though it was one of the pricier meals we’d had, it was worth it for the amazing view! Would highly recommend.

Tucked at the end of a dead end road outside of town you can find this lovely seaside restaurant. Enjoy a fantastic pallea, a tasty cocktail was wonderful views. We secured some beach loungers and relaxed on the beach until our reservation. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious and we weren't surrounded by tourists. It was a lovely experience.

I had a fabulous dinner at El Carmen. What i can say is that i got the best paella of the island, the best service i could have. Still thanks for the birthday celebration you gave me, it was really appreciated. It’s not only a must but a dream place to have dinner (lunch or whatever you’d like to have) and admire sunset on Es Vedrà.

We had such an amazing lunch in this restaurant sea-front! The menu is amazing and it's a shame we had time to go only once cause I would have definitely tried more and more things! We shared the traditional seafood and chicken paella and it was delicious! I also tried a local dessert which I have enjoyed a lot as well :) Absolutely recommended! Book in advance:)

Reservation is a necessary. We tried the fish and paella which was a dissappointment. The waiters were always busy to ask for a drink. We waited more than half and hour for the serving. Except the view ( spectacular), the rest is okish. They should have more friendly to the tourist!

Yelp
Absolutely positively a must visit for one of the best paella (BTW pronounced pie-aaa-ya,, no ls please! ) you will ever have. See the photo I uploaded....it is even more savoury than it looks. I've been here 2 years in a row and have not been disappointed. The restaurant is situated on a short cliff above the beach, with a lovely view of Es Vedra. They serve different kinds of paella, you can choose with fish, shellfish (mariscos), chicken, etc. Cost is not cheap but generally worth it. The only thing I thought was not value for money was the gazapacho, not as flavourful as it should be and especially for the price (6 euros). The Sangria is WAY worth it, a must buy really. You can get the regular Sangria (red) or with Cava, which is very refreshing on a hot day. Recommended starter: Calamari a la plancha (griddled) was fresh and melted in my mouth. Another note: the local beach below the restaurant is really lovely if you are looking for the calmer Ibiza vibe. You'll see less Brits than normal, lots of local families and young couples chilling out and enjoying the sun and sea.

Yelp
The most breathtaking views of Es Vedra and Paella sent from heaven makes me wish I could rate El Carmen with a higher-than five star rating. The service was spectacular, the staff extremely efficient and the owner was very present, asking how he could better serve us. I would highly recommend the wine, views, service and restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable Spanish food experience.

Yelp
This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Ibiza. I think it is high in the running for best paella on the island. This is why I chose to have my wedding rehearsal dinner there this past June. The staff did a fantastic job with our party of about 20. They prepared a very impressive pan of mixed paella for us this day, and I'm sure it was one if the best u ever had. It was part of a price fixed menu they gave me which was very reasonably priced, including appetizer, paella, coffee and wine. My guests were very impressed with the food, service, and of course with the perfect location and dreamy view of es Vedra. This if truly a fantastic place to stop forr an authentic Spanish style lunch if you are in the Cala D'hort area.

Yelp
The seafood paella and that view made for one of the best meals we had in Ibitza! My only reco is to skip the appetizers as the paella is a very generous size for two.
