Restaurant Fiskekroken Narvik

My friend and I visited this lovely restaurant while on holiday in Narvik, and we were genuinely impressed. The food was absolutely exquisite both in taste and presentation. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the fish dishes. My friend ordered the Signature Dish: Grilled Boknafish with green pea purée, beetroot sauce, cured whale, and potatoes. The flavors were beautifully balanced and beautifully presented. I had the Crispy Skin Arctic Char with celeriac purée, broccoli, dill–beurre blanc, and potatoes perfectly cooked, flaky, and rich in fresh Arctic taste. We highly recommend both dishes. I will definitely go back for their fish soup! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, creating a great place to unwind after exploring Narvik. A few small downsides: I think it would be really helpful for the restaurant to offer Wi-Fi, especially since it’s a popular spot for tourists. The alcohol is quiet expensive but this is everywhere not only here. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with outstanding food definitely worth a visit!

Fresh and delicious fish dishes. We had halibut and arctic salmon. They were cooked perfectly. Perfect with a beer. Staffs were friendly and helpful. She also gave a great suggestion of the dishes. Price was cheaper than Tromso for the same meal. It’s Norway, eat out is not cheap😂

We had a really lovely meal here. The Crispy Arctic Char and Fish soup both were amazing and our son liked the fish cakes. Service was good too. Would happily recommend this place.

The food was really tasty, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us call a taxi and double-checked to make sure it was on the way.

Absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was super fresh and tasty! The crispy skin Arctic Char was probably the best fish dish I had in my life! The service was friendly and kind! If you want some amazing fresh seafood and great service, this is the place! Highly recommended!

Went as a family at around 5:15 on a Wednesday. Had to queue for a bit but it was worth it. Fantastic fish with good beer. I had the boknafish and cured whale. HelBel had the smoked cod and Alex the shrimps (which we were lucky to finish, best I've had!). Lovely staff too. Loving Narvik already.

Highly recommended to dine at this restaurant. We were looking forward for some whale steak but was disappointed they do not serve this dish anymore. But the restaurant did not disappoint in other dish served We had Crispy Skin Artic Char and Pan Fried Halibut with beer. Priced - reasonable Food - awesome Beer - smooth Atmosphere - cozy
