Restaurant Fiskekroken Narvik

Absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was super fresh and tasty! The crispy skin Arctic Char was probably the best fish dish I had in my life! The service was friendly and kind! If you want some amazing fresh seafood and great service, this is the place! Highly recommended!

This restaurant is amazing! Delicious food, only fresh fishes to chose from. The Pan Fried Halibut and the Crispy Skin Arctic Char were each mouth-watering and super tasty. Moreover, the staff was very nice and welcoming. We’ve been here twice during our short stay in Narvik, but would come back anytime to taste other dishes as well! I can highly recommend❣️

We tried three dishes in the menu: boknafish, pan fried halibut, whale burger. The Whale burger was supposedly meant to be a “small dish”. However, it was a normal portion size - except it comes without fries which have to be purchased separately. We haven’t been told by the waiter that the pan fried halibut contains fish bones. The individual ingredients in the dishes tasted good but were mildly flavoured. When added all together, they made the dish bland. The portion sizes of the main courses were disappointing and should be switched with the small dishes. I would recommend coming here to try the seafood. I can definitely see the dishes appealing to some people - however to me it was nothing special. I personally most enjoyed the whale burger .

we had a whale burger and 2 different fish dishes (arctic char and halibut i think). whale burger was something new and interesting but a tad bit dry for us. the portions were huge compared to other places in Norway 😊

Beautiful and charming fish restaurant in Narvik. This is a gem of a place and make sure you visit: it serves sophisticated but unpretencious honest food. Whatever you pick on the menue—you won’t go wrong. The atmosphere is nice—this is a convivial place with solid service. I can’t recommend it enough. P. S. Try cod tongues: you will not regret it.

We had really good plates. Arctic char and halibut with a creamy sauce. The restaurant is located in the fish market hall.

Amazing food, lovely staff who were helpful and tolerant of my terrible attempt to speak Norwegian. Will definitely be back.

A lot of fish dishes, pan fried cod and halibut were really tasty. Friendly staff is a big plus. This place is very popular among locals so it's good to make a reservation in advance however they were nice and let us in for a quick lunch despite lack of reservation
