Restaurant Fiskekroken Narvik

Absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was super fresh and tasty! The crispy skin Arctic Char was probably the best fish dish I had in my life! The service was friendly and kind! If you want some amazing fresh seafood and great service, this is the place! Highly recommended!

Went as a family at around 5:15 on a Wednesday. Had to queue for a bit but it was worth it. Fantastic fish with good beer. I had the boknafish and cured whale. HelBel had the smoked cod and Alex the shrimps (which we were lucky to finish, best I've had!). Lovely staff too. Loving Narvik already.

Highly recommended to dine at this restaurant. We were looking forward for some whale steak but was disappointed they do not serve this dish anymore. But the restaurant did not disappoint in other dish served We had Crispy Skin Artic Char and Pan Fried Halibut with beer. Priced - reasonable Food - awesome Beer - smooth Atmosphere - cozy

This restaurant is amazing! Delicious food, only fresh fishes to chose from. The Pan Fried Halibut and the Crispy Skin Arctic Char were each mouth-watering and super tasty. Moreover, the staff was very nice and welcoming. We’ve been here twice during our short stay in Narvik, but would come back anytime to taste other dishes as well! I can highly recommend❣️

We had a fantastic lunch at Fiskekroken in Narvik. The restaurant features an on-site fish market, ensuring that all seafood is exceptionally fresh. ​ We ordered the Røkt Torsk (smoked cod with bacon), the Grillet Boknafisk, the Mussel Casserole, the Shrimp Plate, and the Crispy Skin Arctic Char. Everything was absolutely delicious! While the shrimp and mussels were smaller than those typically found in Spain, they were accompanied by a delicious sauce that complemented them perfectly. The fish dishes were cooked to perfection, each paired with sauces that enhanced their flavors beautifully.​ The combination of fresh seafood, skilled preparation, and delightful sauces made our meal at Fiskekroken a memorable experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Narvik who wishes to enjoy high-quality, traditional Norwegian seafood

I am not a fan of seafood, but I wanted to try the stockfish. To my surprise, it was excellent! Strongly recommended!

We tried three dishes in the menu: boknafish, pan fried halibut, whale burger. The Whale burger was supposedly meant to be a “small dish”. However, it was a normal portion size - except it comes without fries which have to be purchased separately. We haven’t been told by the waiter that the pan fried halibut contains fish bones. The individual ingredients in the dishes tasted good but were mildly flavoured. When added all together, they made the dish bland. The portion sizes of the main courses were disappointing and should be switched with the small dishes. I would recommend coming here to try the seafood. I can definitely see the dishes appealing to some people - however to me it was nothing special. I personally most enjoyed the whale burger .

we had a whale burger and 2 different fish dishes (arctic char and halibut i think). whale burger was something new and interesting but a tad bit dry for us. the portions were huge compared to other places in Norway 😊
