Georgette is always a delight. Wine list is fantastic - great selection and well priced. Bread basket is high quality. The egg - get the egg. It’s unique and delicious. I splurged and had the foie gras and artic char. Both simple but perfect in preparation

Google
Excellent small neighborhood restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The food is excellent, a good combination of classic cooking and innovative food, like the saffron biscuits with the cod. I had red mullet that was delicious and interesting. The roast chicken looked hearty and beautifully cooked. Also an excellent wine list. A great find, highly recommended.

I spent a month in Paris and this was one of the top 10 meals I had. While the decor is unassuming and casual, the food is absolutely top tier. This was the fifth ratatouille I had on my trip and by far the best. They really showed how great the dish can be whereas most places treat it like a side dish. The vegetables were surrounded by a divine cheese infused foam and topped with a perfectly cooked poached egg. For dessert I had the Fontainebleau - a light and airy “soft cheese” dessert topped with candied citrus and nuts. Absolutely divine. Their cappuccino was excellent - which unfortunately wasn’t common on my trip (most espresso drinks on my trip were bitter and the beans over roasted). Really a gem and you won’t be disappointed. I absolutely loved every dish. Magnificent!

Google
What a delightful experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made the dining experience a delight. Georgette does have menus in English if you need it, and the staff are happy to help you in French or English. I had the cauliflower starter, beef fillet (not pictured) main, and fig duo dessert. My favourite was the fillet because it was expertly cooked and really tasty. I was expecting the fig duo to be a little sweeter, but I'm not sure if that's an unfair assessment. Thanks Georgette and staff, till we see each other again!

This beautiful restaurant was buzzing and nearly full on a Friday evening with a warm friendly atmosphere everywhere. The initial welcome and service throughout was super friendly and helpful. We loved the modern furnishings and artwork too. The menu was perfect with choices to suit everyone, and our selections were cooked perfectly and tasted sublime. This was everything we would want in a Parisian Bistro thank you so much

Google
The Georgette was a wonderful experience for our entire family. We had a reservation and was warmly welcomed by the host. The wait staff was kind and took the time to explain the menu. The wait staff worked together and you could feel the care and pride that went into every plate. The food - amazing. We had appetizers, a main dish and dessert. It was dreamy from start to finish. I hope to be back one day!

Google
Just wonderful in every possible sense. Delicious food, lively atmosphere and attentive, engaging service from the charming Paul. Delightful all round. Our best meal in Paris.

Google
Eating at Restaurant Georgette was one of the best meals and dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food is incredible, it’s a small and cozy place with great wines, and the service is impeccable. We had the egg with chorizo foam, the sea bass tartare, the wax and green beans, the ratatouille, the farmer’s chicken main course, the Caesar salad, and dessert. Everything was SO good, but especially the egg/chorizo dish and the ratatouille. Every single server is so kind and accommodating, and they have great rapport with one another. Nicolas is an absolute gem and made our experience that much better. I highly recommend making time for at least one meal here early in your stay in Paris, because you will certainly want to return!

Yelp
Lovely French restaurant for a slightly elevated yet not too fancy lunch or dinner. I ordered the Filet of Beef (€39)- the steak was great and cooked to a nice medium-rare as requested. The reduced juice also added some good flavor. My only small thing to note was that it was slightly on the tough side at certain point. The potatoes on the side were delicious, and about as good as potatoes could be- creamy with a nice flavor. I think the price was a little bit high for the portion size, but not too bad. The restaurant itself is medium sized with a very pleasant and bright environment. There is simple yet elegant decor and the ambiance could be suitable for both a casual and more formal setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The service speed is fast. Overall, I would highly recommend Restaurant Georgette for honestly most types of occasions if you are looking for some good French cuisine.

Yelp
Service and food was outstanding. Vibe lovely. I highly recommend it. Why 3 stars? Well, I selected it because it had a 25 dollar prix fix lunch menu, except, it did not. So what? The cost of travel, c'est la vie. I ordered the 35 euro plus meals with an appetizer and some wine and dessert. Something was lost in translation because somehow I ended up paying over $277 for lunch because apparently when I asked for a half carafe of wine I received a full bottle of extremely expensive wine which I was very definitely NOT looking to do with my 18 year old daughter and mom. In fact, I was at the end of my rope with travel costs, so I really did not appreciate having a rare wine added to my bill - generally in France the service is pretty upfront about that kind of thing in my experience - and I was a waitress in Paris once myself. I loved the waiter, I loved the restaurant and the food was very good. I just wish he had clarified the wine before pouring because it was a huge shock. Also, I ended up handing the bottle away to a store owner an hour later because I could not drink it nor carry it around,.

Yelp
My wife and I have traveled all over the world and this is our all time favorite restaurant. The food is of course good, but their service is phenomenal. They make everyone, regardless of nationality feel accepted and cared for. Ambiance is comfortable and approachable even though it's a high end restaurant. I cannot speak highly of enough about this restaurant and I recommend everyone try it.

Yelp
Great restaurant by the Jardin du Luxembourg. I sat outside and had a great time. I started with the shrimp appetizer which was my favorite thing I ate during my whole vacation in Paris. The portion was small but it packed so much flavor! The risotto was also creamy and perfectly cooked. The staff spoke English and were very friendly.

Yelp
Greeted warmly and seated promptly. Modern decor in a classic building, nice. We both got the Plat du Jour (plate of the day) always the way to go in France. It was a wonderful slice of beef with watercress and tomatoes with pea purée. It was delicious! Then came the pork tenderloin medallions in sauce with spiced cauliflower that was wonderful and I don't normally like cauliflower. Next we got a cheese plate with Comte and Brie that was very tasty! And of course we got a plum tart for dessert. All together a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Delicious food, artistically presented, with a hard-working staff. The asparagus starter was subtle and wonderful, the veal was magnificent, and the chocolate fondant was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best meal I've had in Paris in many years.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service. I'm sorry we only came here once during our trip. Definitely a hidden gem in Paris!

Yelp
Simply spectacular. Fresh ingredients, original flavors, well executed, attentive and friendly staff, sourdough bread with dinner. Hands down my favorite meal in Paris. We started with the leek appetizer and for entree got the turbot and filet of beef. Both entrees were phenomenal and perfect. The leek app was very complex with many different flavors but left me feeling inspired to experiment with more leek recipes!! For dessert, we opted for the georgette special- a meringue with custard/pudding and sliced almonds. The dessert was also delicious. Reasonably priced for such a great experience and phenomenal meal. Also- very accommodating of our toddler with creative mocktails and fries. Will certainly return and would recommend to all.

Yelp
Both the food and the service were fantastic! Definitely a neighborhood gem in Saint-Germain.

Yelp
Great French local dinner tucked away in 7e. Lots of locals and a diverse menu of things to try that you can't get elsewhere. The service was also very good.

Yelp
Excellent food and ambience. Great location near the Luxembourg garden. Service is super friendly and efficient. Great wine list at reasonable prices.

Yelp
The only restaurant we ate dinner at twice while we were in Paris. Excellent service, fun tasty cocktails, and the food was tasty & unique. Looking forward to going back

Yelp
We found this restaurant on our first afternoon in Paris. Wonderful, friendly service. Our server, Henri, was gracious, charming, and forgiving of our lack of French fluency. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious white wine, farmers chicken, and chicken caesar salad. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
We have a great lunch here in Paris- it's half way between the Musee D'Orsay and the Catacombs. Try the risotto!

Yelp
Loved it !!! I rarely give 5 stars to non-Michelin starred restaurants, but honestly we had a great lunch at Georgette on May 1st. Food: - all dishes we ordered were excellent. I went for the sweetbreads ... FAN-TAS-TIC. - dessert "ile flottante" ... yummy :) - solid wine list Service: - staff was super kind - we arrived right before kitchen closed at 2.15pm, and staff was super accomodative Atmosphere: - cute decor - tables outside for those spring sunny days !

Yelp
I liked the look and feel of this restaurant. It was an upscale brasserie, and our waiter was very sweet. The appetizers were AMAZING. I'd go back just for those. Both were so delicious and much more creative & imaginative than I would have expected. My entree was straightforward (farm chicken and mashed potatoes), but well-prepared & seasoned, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the desserts. I ordered the Georgette Brest (a play on the Paris Brest, which I love) so I was thrilled to find this on the menu. But it was bad - tasted like a refrigerated, stale pastry. I had two bites and couldn't eat beyond that. A bad dessert in Paris is unheard of! A disappointing end to the meal. But other than the desserts, I did enjoy this restaurant.

Dana B.

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner in comfortable brasserie while watching several French families enjoy their Friday family dinner. Every dish was delicious. Sea bream and "farmers" chicken. We've eaten richer French cuisine for a week. More clean food was just want we needed. Wonderful service. Helpful with food and wine recommendations. Loved it!

Yelp
A wonderful meal when in Paris and a true Parisian experience. I had the gazpacho and Cesar salad--both were very fresh and delicious. The gazpacho was especially creative in flavor and taste. My husband got the quintessential steak and frites. Both were good except the steak (ordered medium-rare) came out well done. I would have returned it but my husband likes steak on the spectrum of rare to well-done. He's much more easy going than I am. Service was excellent and you can speak English to the waitstaff if need be. This seemed like a neighborhood restaurant yet still accommodated tourists. Note: no English menu. Well we didn't ask so not sure if this is a fact. Overall, this restaurant is a good value for your money. It's closer to a 4-Star in terms of food but good service goes a long way when you're in Europe! So 5 it is!

Yelp
Great experience at Georgette. Out of all the places we went during our week in Paris, the service here was unmatched. The environment was almost modern minimalist with an artsy touch. The cocktails were tasty and the wine selection was so expansive it was overwhelming. I ordered the steak, and even though it was a little rare for my liking, it tasted great and cut like butter. Would highly recommend an espresso and chocolate lava cake for dessert.

Yelp
After a hectic morning we stumbled upon this restaurant. The steak with Asian spices was done perfectly. My family raved about the lamb dish. Save room for the desserts. Definitely put this on your list if visiting Paris.

Yelp
Great food and charming staff. The wine also very good. This restaurant is my new recommendation for all friends coming to Paris

Yelp
This is a beautiful little restaurant a few blocks away from Luxembourg Gardens. I would highly recommend going to the gardens after dinner. As for the actual restaurant itself, the service was excellent. Celine was my waitress and she was very funny and attentive and spoke perfect English. I decided to go with the loin of lamb with dauphine potatoes as my main course. The lamb was cooked perfectly - pink in the middle and very juicy! The potatoes were spot on and delicious. For desert, I decided to with the Ile Flottante. I've never had it before and Celine told me it was the restaurant's specialty. It's basically a large serving of Meringue floating in vanilla custard. I've never had anything like it and destroyed the beautiful dish in a matter of minutes. The vanilla custard was truly amazing - very creamy and not too sweet. Also, if you're a big fan of old fashioneds I would order one right away. It's a little bit on the sweeter side but I loved it. I've had old fashioned's from all over the world and this one is my favorite by far.

Yelp
went our first night in Paris since it was up the street from our hotel and we were exhausted from traveling and the D'Orsay. went back our last night since it was the best meal we had. on both occasions the restaurant and entire staff we welcoming,, friendly and helpful. and the food! spectacular gravlax; perfect veal chop; and the molten chocolate cake with truffle ice cream!! but mostl just warm and welcoming

Yelp
Had a really delicious lunch here today! The duck was truly amazing, as was the tomato gazpacho. We also got the chicken, served with probably the best mashed potatoes I've had in my life, and the beef tartar served with these light crispy fries that were to die for. Would definitely return here again for a really pleasant lunch!

M M.

Yelp
The service was really outstanding. Great staff! Nice decor-- very relaxing. And their seared tuna with risotto was the best meal I had in Paris. Highly recommend dining here if you're in the area.

J R.

Yelp
Overpriced and undercooked. The food is ok but way too overpriced for what you get. Portions are small and sides are almost non existent. The salmon was too undercooked and served with a salad that was just rucola and some olive oil. The burger wasn't bad but could have had some more salad, tomatoes and usual ingredients with it. The smoothies on the other hand are excellent. Definitely try the detox. Service is also non existent. Mainly students who forget your order or confuse it and bring you things you didn't order and still leave it on the bill after. Also could be more polite. All in all it's good for a coffee since it's well placed next to the Jardin du Luxembourg. But for more than that, go somewhere else.

Karven B.

Yelp
I had the 5 spice Asian steak and it had no flavor and was a very tough cut of meat. For 32 euros I expected better. The location is in a cool neighborhood and the service was very good but was disappointed in the food.

Yelp
Best meal I had in France after 10 days of travel - the entrees were superb and the service was exceptional. Must go restaurant in the city!

Yelp
We had just landed in Paris and were looking for a good French meal and we came across this place. The host sat us down and began practicing his Spanish with my wife and was extremely welcoming as he gave her glasses of wine to sample. He then proceeded to read the entire menu translating it into English. He went beyond the level of costumer service we could have asked for. And also the food was outstanding. It was well crafted and artfully displayed on our plates. It was a great introduction to Paris.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Excellent food and dining experience. Delicious avocado toast at lunch, wonderful dinner options, and the mi cuit for dessert is perfect. Service is spot-on and everyone is very warm and friendly.

Yelp
Perfect in everywhere. Awesome ambiance, excellent service (they let us try two wines before we selected a bottle) and the food was beyond super! I used to live in France and miss French food and this did not disappoint.

Edward K.

Yelp
Outstanding meal. We were a party of 6 + 1 baby (who they were kind about). Overall, I remember us all being pleased with our meals - and food was one of the focuses of our trip. I am posting this review 3 weeks later and I still recall the salmon ceviche dish being hearty and delicious! It was probably one of my 2 favorite & memorable dishes - the other one being the hand-made cacio e pepe dish I had in Rome. Worth a stop here!

Yelp
Georgette offers a fresh and original view on traditional dishes. Their 'Georgette Brest' is heavenly, and their 'Lemon cake revisited' is beyond comparison. Together with a wonderful selection of wines and a swift, accurate and friendly service Georgette makes a great and affordable dining experience.

Jim L.

Yelp
We stumbled on this place walking from the Luxembourg Gardens. In short, the food was excellent and our waiter was great. It was slightly expensive for lunch but well worth it.

Terroll A.

Yelp
My beloved bride and I are in Paris visiting our daughter (who lives in Paris) and we (along with her 10 month old son) had lunch at Georgette. An absolutely wonderful experience. The best part of the visit was the waiter, Nicoli (not sure of the spelling) he helped with the young one, he was patient with my wife's French and he was very helpful with the menu items. Since my second language is Spanish, he had no problem speaking English to me. Unfortunately, some waiters can be rude or unhelpful to Americans, but not Nicoli or Charles, his assistant. The food was delicious and the service attentive but not hovering. Without doubt, this was the best dining experience (out of many) that I have had in Paris. This gives you a true "French Restaurant" experience. My Daughter, who is thoroughly familiar with Parisian restaurants also had high praise for Georgette. In short, highly recommend it!
