Restaurant Gerberhaus

Not sure if Gerberhaus would ever consider writing a cookbook, but if they do I would buy it in a heartbeat. Everything we ate was fresh, local, and delicious. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Just what you need after a cool autumn day. We also had the opportunity to get kaise spaetzel from the take out window, and this is the best in all of Bavaria, maybe even Germany unless you have a German mother who can cook. Gerberhaus is a real hidden gem, that can't be missed if you're within 100km.

Love the german Traditional food here! the place is quite cozy too. we tried: Spätzle and Lentils ( with Sausage & bacon) 8.5/10 Gerberplate 8/10 plater with Beef, chicken and a bit vegetables its well cooked and tasty, only that the veggies portion could be more decaffeinated coffee 8.5/10 Good food, friendly staffs, cozy athmosphere

About as authentic as Bavarian cuisine can be. Full of locals is always a good sign.

A very nice typical german restaurant! The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. The people, who worked there were very welcoming and nice too. The main dishes took a bit more time to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

An excellent restaurant with great local food. We ordered saussages with lentils as well as a beef fillet in gravy and both dishes were amazing. The portions were huge, i couldnt even finish it :) For starters we ordered tomato soup and a mixed salad which were excellent as well. Highly recommende!!

Seemed like the only place in Ulm that was buzzing. Lovely atmosphere. Quant little restaurant on the water. Friendly staff. Wide selection of food on the menu. I had the Gerberteller which was both generous and tasty. I'm not partial though to the main local delicacy Kasspãtzle which is like a mushy macaroni cheese thing. But that's just me. If I'm ever in Ulm again, I'll go back. Well worth a visit.

Very delicious and authentic German and Bavarian cuisine. Staff was extremely friendly, and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. the stream is also very beautiful. a must visit for locals and tourists alike!

The food here is superb. A warm and friendly atmosphere, very professional and knowledgeable staff. This Restaurant has the best food I remember eating. The asparagus and Strawberry soup is out of this world.

This is a place I always stop at when in Ulm ESPECIALLY when it is Espargel (asparagus) season. The soup is outstanding and paring this with a salad so we aren't in a coma come dinner time

Second time I have eaten at this place at it is fabulous. The most authentic German food and very high quality. Great ambience in old part of town with wooden features and great location next to a creek. I had pumpkin soup with shrimp and bread with trout spread to start, fabulous. Main course was pork medallions with brown sauce which was incredible! Make sure to have a reservation
