I love this place though it was my first time. This is how you imagine Tirolean food and climate in a best way.
Staff is vary friendly and helpful. And the food simply great. Enough choice for everyone.
Wine and beer selection is more than enough.

We booked a table for Valentines Day dinner with their special menu offer with two starters, a main course and a dessert. The starters were Alpine Prawn Tartare with red lentils and horseradish, red beet arancini and with pumpkin seed oil. We both loved the first starter, the combination of different tastes on the plate was just perfect! 😋 Just the choice of bread could have been better in my opinion. The second starter had just an average taste; nothing special and way below our expectations. Regarding the main course, my husband says the meat was a little bit too dry on his plate. The fish was nice in general but lack of marinade and if baked sweet potato preferred, would have fitted better tastewise in my opinion. Other than food, we ordered two different gin cocktails at the beginning before we start our first course. Both were really good. 👍 Sadly, I cannot say the same about the wine we had with the main course. We were both expecting more characteristic wines for that price 🤷♀️ By the way, drinks are not included in the menu, just fyi. In the end, we preferred to get the dessert as take away and leave earlier than planned. I forgot to make a photo of it sadly but it was not an outstanding taste; just regular chocolate cake, even too sweet and also too dry. I was expecting more moisture inside the cake to be honest. And, they should have cut the cake off the dry edges and not given them to the customers for a special menu in my opinion. All in all, the atmosphere was very beautiful and the waiters were very kind. However, it was not worth paying that much for average food in my opinion. I mean the restaurant can still be preferred to eat in the city but not for special menus 🤷♀️
I preferred the fish and my husband preference was roasted deer as main course. The dessert was savoury chocolate cake with raspberry sauce.

Lovely restaurant, plenty of seating. Very popular but short waiting time, food comes out quick.
Excellent quality food, pork schnitzel made well (not dry) and Tiroler Grostl was tasty. Sides of cabbage and potato salad complimented the mains.
Nice cosy atmosphere and friendly attentive staff, quick service. Excellent value for money.
Update - went back again for their Styrian fried chicken and more schnitzel. Great experience again.

Outstanding service! Beautiful restaurant and wonderful attention to detail. Steak, pepper sauce, vegetables and a potato. The sirloin steak was slightly tough, the pepper sauce could do with some more pepper, the veg and potato was outstanding so all round a lonely night. The red wine was a hit and didn’t break the bank. A nice romantic little place.

The restaurant was very nice. It has a nice location and a nice arhitecture. However, when the staff saw that I was a foreigner, they took advantage of that, because I do not speak German. We ordered 4 schnitzel. We had 2 options, either the 20€(pork) one or the 30€(beef) one. I specifically asked for the 20€ ones. I said it loud and clear. My family heard me saying exactly the words “pork for all”. They gave us the order and we started eating. We only ate pork, I am 100% sure of that. They charged us for three 30€ schnitzel and one 20€ one. They charged us 30€ more than what we were supposed to pay and we only ate pork, no beef. I was extremely disappointed. This was not suppose to happen. I would have understood to pay that amount of money if we ate beef.. stating that I ordered wrong in English(which I did not!), but we only ate PORKKK!!! That was unbelievable. Nobody, ever, took advantage of me before at a restaurant. Shame on them!

Highly recommended. Local food in a great ambiance! Special thanks to our waiter Noah who was very friendly and helpful. His recommendations were spot on! Will come back for sure for the Kalb Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarn!!

The food was good. Especially the Backhendl. Waiter could have been a little friendlier. We couldn’t find any help and went in search of pepper by ourselves.
