Restaurant Gorgona

One of the bigger taverns we've found here, so close to the sea. We were welcomed with a complementary Greek salad. I ordered Gorgona special which is mix of grilled seafood with a local white wine. All was tasty, fresh and juicy. After main dish we got some fruits for dessert. Everything taste excellent, the service is very nice and helpful. Definitely earned 5/5 Edit: this place serves food for 36 years here with no changes. Amazing and worth to visit.

Food was good, simply authentic and very great value. Complementary greek salad and fruit salad for dessert. Very warm welcomed by the owner who speaks so many languages (he even speaks Swiss German 🙂).

Really great place to visit. First, view and overall vibe were nice, it felt authentically greek for us. Proximity of the sea resulted in nice, refreshing breeze and made our experience that much better Food quality and portion sizes were great, we left well feed. I can recommend chicked souvlaki with clear consciousness. Free water and fruits on the house that we got after our meal were nice touch Service was really good, quite quick and we didn't had to wait for our food for a long time For those prices, it's an easy to recommend place

Quite a nice restaurant with lots of guests. But thats it! My pork souvlaki was a tough thing to eat! You need a very sharp knife and also teeth to be able to eat it! And if you did it tasted nothing at all! Not acceptable! My wife had stuffed vegetables that was Ok but also quite tasteless. The reaction from service was very negative, no excuse what so ever, not even a comment and instead of something extra with the complementary fruit we got no fruit at all! Punished instead! I will never go back and recommend all of you to make another choice! I have had lunch or dinner at more than 10 different restaurants this week in Crete and this is by far the worst!

100% recommended. Very tasty food, especially the fresh fish. Kind and efficient staff. One should also meet the owner, great person!

Fresh fried squid and mixed fish are tasty, delicious..! Surprise "hors d''oeuvre" (Greek salad) and surprise water melon and melon. Great!

A nice beachside restaurant with an old-school atmosphere. The prices are quite cheap for the place that's its at. The food was good, a nice representation of greek cuisine.
