Best restaurant on the mountain. Kind staff, good food, reasonable price and very cozy. Keep in mind, no reservations possible. Personal recommendation: The burger and the Rösti with Raclette and egg

Grindelwaldblick restaurant is a 1/4 mile walk from the Kleine Scheidegg train station. The food is good but the views from the restaurant are spectacular and well worth the walk up the road to get there. It’s best to check the weather since it’s better to be there when it’s sunny or partly cloudy. The train station is a connecting point for several trains going up and down to different places so this is a nice place to take a break,get some lunch and go on to your next adventure.

Best meal in Switzerland so far! Service was also very good, and prices reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Stopped here because of the rain. What a pleasant surprise. The ambiance, the mountain backdrop, and the staff were all great. Some of the best Swiss food. Amazing food! Highly recommend.

Don’t recommend the fondue (it had too much alcohol and the cheap one of cherry liqueur). The service was friendly but slow. The prices are more or less of swiss standards but could be a bit cheaper or quantities for side dishes for fondue bigger. Nothing to remark beyond that. I would not go back again unfortunately

A bit over-hyped bc of the views, probably the smallest schnitzel I’ve ever had in Europe- but flavor was good, beer was cold and service was decent!

Here they have the best Wurst/käsesalat from the whole town, definitely a must try. The other food is also of great quality and I also love their ice tea.

E best rosti we had even after 10 days of travelling in Swiss. The rosti is crispy on e outside n firm on the inside. The onion sauce is fragrant with some of e onion slices still crunchy. Sausage is juicy and with just e right amt of cheese. This is a short distance from the Kleine Scheidegg train station and with awesome view. Service is fast as well. A true reward for the end of hiking
