Excellent restaurant in the main square. We had the mic sausages, cabbage rolls and the paparnas dessert. Everything was great I highly recommend it!

We (a group of four) came in for a late lunch looking for traditional Romanian food. We were not disappointed. They were able to seat us immediately and we had a choice of inside or outside (we chose inside due to the weather). Personally, I ordered the bean soup in a bread bowl, the fried Mici and a glass of white wine. It was a lot more food than I was expecting. Additionally, it was really affordable. In all I spent 87 RON, which is about €17.50. You had the option of paying cash or paying by card at the restaurant.

The foods good and the service is alright . We had dinner twice there . The young female server is phenomenal, but the older lady is quite laconic for some reason and that comes off as somewhat rude.

We chose it by chance, as all the nearby restaurants were full. It’s located right in the center, on the main square. During the Christmas markets, it’s hard to notice because the Christmas stalls block the view, so you have to walk behind them. The restaurant is small, consisting of two rectangular halls, each with 5-7 tables. It’s very cozy and stylish, with a classic, comfortable atmosphere. The music is good, not loud, and the festive decorations are beautiful. We literally fell in love with this restaurant and came here for several evenings in a row. In January, there were many visitors, so finding a free table is not easy, especially for large groups, but we were always lucky, and a table was found for us. Despite the high occupancy, the guests didn’t disturb each other, and there was no annoying noise. The menu is available in both English and Romanian. Each section has 5-8 types of dishes. It’s very well thought out, with both European and traditional Romanian cuisine. We tried various meat dishes, salads, desserts, wine, and "vin fiert"/mulled wine (our favorite) – everything was prepared quickly, served stylishly, and tasted great. Our compliments to the chef for the excellent dishes! The service is very attentive and caring, but not intrusive. The waiters are mature, professional people. The prices for a restaurant located in a tourist center during peak season are not inflated. A dinner for two with wine will cost around 10-12 euros (200-250 RON). You can pay with cash or card. The final bill offers various options for additional tips. We are very satisfied with everything, highly recommend it for a visit, and hope to return here again.

One of the best goulashes I’ve ever had! The waiters recommended a fantastic wine from Moldova, which paired perfectly and exceeded expectations. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering it’s in a popular tourist area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Braşov!

Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The issues began with the service. I waited for about 10 minutes just to get someone’s attention to place my order. When my food finally arrived, I realized it wasn’t a main course, as I had expected. Despite being listed under the “traditional meals” category, the waiter failed to clarify that it was actually a cold side dish (zakuska) better suited for pairing with vodka or similar drinks. When it came to the service fee, I initially planned to leave a 10% tip as indicated on the bill. However, the waiter entered a higher amount into the terminal, which raised questions … Instead of discussing the issue with me directly, she involved other guests nearby, making the situation even more awkward! In the end the WC doesn’t have the door locker. Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and a complete disappointment.
