We chose it by chance, as all the nearby restaurants were full.
It’s located right in the center, on the main square. During the Christmas markets, it’s hard to notice because the Christmas stalls block the view, so you have to walk behind them.
The restaurant is small, consisting of two rectangular halls, each with 5-7 tables.
It’s very cozy and stylish, with a classic, comfortable atmosphere. The music is good, not loud, and the festive decorations are beautiful. We literally fell in love with this restaurant and came here for several evenings in a row. In January, there were many visitors, so finding a free table is not easy, especially for large groups, but we were always lucky, and a table was found for us. Despite the high occupancy, the guests didn’t disturb each other, and there was no annoying noise.
The menu is available in both English and Romanian. Each section has 5-8 types of dishes. It’s very well thought out, with both European and traditional Romanian cuisine. We tried various meat dishes, salads, desserts, wine, and "vin fiert"/mulled wine (our favorite) – everything was prepared quickly, served stylishly, and tasted great. Our compliments to the chef for the excellent dishes!
The service is very attentive and caring, but not intrusive. The waiters are mature, professional people.
The prices for a restaurant located in a tourist center during peak season are not inflated. A dinner for two with wine will cost around 10-12 euros (200-250 RON).
You can pay with cash or card. The final bill offers various options for additional tips.
We are very satisfied with everything, highly recommend it for a visit, and hope to return here again.
