Restaurant Hansens Café

Fantastic freshly cooked food (we took white fish and meatballs), very friendly service and overall a nice vibe. The restaurant is located in the oldest building in the village that has been nicely preserved + has a lovely terrace

Had a great, tastefull lunch here. Absolutely can recomment! For us a lunch normally consists if 1 cracker, 1 slice of bread and a cup of tea/coffee, so two dishes was a bit much. And then to think some eat 3 😁 Definately go for the crispy pork!

Good food, terrible service. Stuff pays only attention to there usual or local guests. They were literraly ignoring us. We got an impression that they simply didn't want to talk to us when we asked suggestion about food and wine. We were not asked if we want dessert or coffee. However the food was nice, but too overpriced. We had to pay for tap water with ice and bread with butter as well.

I had the best veal steak since I came to Europe a week ago. Service was amazing excellent. The owner was very friendly and the waitress Sarah was super nice. If is definitely worth a visit.

Very nice place, a bit too pricey, but very good quality food. We waited a bit to order, but got meals quickly enough. Very kind to adjust an order to match child needs 😊

I had a terrible experience at Hansens’ yesterday. As soon as I started breastfeeding my baby I was asked by a waiter if I could do in the restroom since people were eating and might be concerned by me breastfeeding. I felt super humiliated and disrespected so I immediately left the restaurant. This review is definitely not meant to discourage other mums from breastfeeding here, but to inform them they might receive an unfriendly welcome, so hopefully they don’t end up leaving the place in a hurry, outraged and ashamed as I did.

A friend of mine was asked to go breastfeed her baby in the toilet “because people are eating here”. There were no other customers eating in the toilet so it was a bit confusing 🤷‍♀️

There are very few places to eat dinner in this small village. This restaurant had the lights turn on and it looked nice, so we decided to eat here. We started with drinks. My wife ordered wine and I ordered a beer. Both were good. Since we were the only customers for a while, our waiter gave us 100% of his attention. The only thing on the menu was a three course meal for a fixed price and we selected that. The soup was very good, as was the main course that consisted of beef and mashed potatoes. We both thought the flavor was excellent with a unique mix of spices. The desert was good too. One benefit of this restaurant is it has a lot of windows that look out on the courtyard and street. We would definitely return here.
