We had a wonderful experience at Jacquou le Croquant! The service was warm and attentive, and the chef was not only incredibly kind but also an excellent cook. We tried the foie gras, the duck breast with porcini mushroom sauce, and the chicken supreme with morels, all of them were absolutely delicious. The patio was lovely and peaceful, perfect for a relaxed dinner. They also welcomed my dog without hesitation and brought him water right away. Highly recommended!

Old traditional restaurant in Aix en We had a lunch, onion soup, Margret du canard, and cassoulet. The soup was good. The duck was well done despite of we ordered medium. The cassoulet was tasty but it wasn't duck, maybe turkey thigh. Average service. We were disappointed..

Was expecting a bit more, the side dishes were poor as the main courses were good. The cream brulee was average at best. Apple tart was very hard to cut on the bottom, apple flavors were nice, as a bit more cream on the side would have been nice. The salads were very good.

Visited with French friends and staff friendly and efficient. I had the dish of the day which was a filling salad of about a dozen or more items. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was lovely a slight breeze to cool down on very hot day

Most of all, we were treated magnificently. Both the waitress and the owner were super nice to us. The waitress could've sold us any dish. After such a treat, everything else was an extra. But even then, the food was also very nice, both the aiguillettes de canard and the salads proved to be very well prepared. The same can be said about the deserts. The interior terrace was fantastic.

Feels like total hidden gem, gorgeous spacious terrace and very friendly staff. Was able to eat gluten free easily - the whole baked sea bream was beautiful.

Quality of food, and presentation is Lower than avreage. It s a Tourist trap. The waitress suggested us to try Paella since the chef comes from Spain.... it was a huge mistake. The palla was grey and looked more like a risotto. The rice used was round and not long, the cuttlefish was old and safferan was missing. The service was ok. The location was messy and not as clean as we like. Bad experince.

Found this restaurant as my boyfriend wanted to have some duck and chanced upon this place which some people called “the duck restaurant”, we came early and lucky us, there was only a slot for 2 left. The food was amazing, the interior is more traditional and un pretentious. Will return to again if ever in Aix

Yelp
Excellent service and experience, multiple waiters doting on us. We had an excellent salad with duck and beef cured meats and cheeses. For dinner, multiple dishes of duck - cassoulet, duck with duck liver and goose liver, and a sliced duck with morel mushroom sauce. All quite good. I also had my first Pastis drink (likely my last as licorice isn't my bag but fun nonetheless. Great setting overlooking the street and people watching.

Yelp
Best meal of our 5 day visit to Aix. Chicken was amazing and charcuterie app was very good. We were the only tourists in the house. No English menus but google translate and our waitress translations worked out great. Credit card machine wasn't working and owner or manager was nice enough to guide me to an atm. I fully expected to have to hunt down an atm but I was personally guided through crowds of club goers and through narrow streets. Good food, good experience.

Yelp
Laetitia and Antonia have the best restaurant in Aix. It is much bigger than it appears and the rooftop terrace is magnifique!

Yelp
Strolling through the lovely city of Aix en Provence we were looking for a restaurant. Not sure what we are looking for, we decided on that lovely place, because it looked really cozy and a bit untypical. The menu was nice and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Decided on some "3 things from rabbit", which was really nice and different to things I tasted before :)

Yelp
The waitress is rude and make excuses when the problem comes without the sprit of serve .it's not a good experience .
