Great potato themed restaurant, as potato is loved in Germany, be sure to try its variations here. Meals were delicious, staff was polite and well vered in English. They have a nice selection of local beers, so do try that. Everything was delicious. Prices reflect the location, but it is worth it.

Great place for casual potato meal 😁. Well organised.... and reasonably priced. Your go to place if you feel hungry while shopping in Trier.

I really liked the choice we ordered, the price is very reasonable, the taste is very good, and we ordered specials only. I recommend trying these dishes, although i was full and couldn’t complete them

Best restaurant in town ! Love it and did 100km to go to this restaurant. Totally worth it. You should try their potatoes meatball (#120) it is a delish ! 🥰 But everything is good tbh !

Loved all of the experience. The staff was helpful and receptive. Also, the location of the restaurant is quite nice. Concerning the environment, it's extremely cozy and calm inside. I had a Trierer Spießbrate and I simply loved it. Meat was juicy and soft and the sauce was tasty. I wish the potatoes were crispier and properly salted, but that's just a personal preference. It was still delicious.

If you’re a fan of potatoes, this is definitely the place to be! The prices are great, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food and a welcoming atmosphere!

We had a wonderful meal at Restaurant Kartoffel Kiste. The menu is quite extensive, and we ordered the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, the smoked pork, and a crouton salad (small - but it was quite big!) to share among three people. The schnitzel was okay, but the smoked pork was deliiiiicious - I really recommend it! The waitress was very kind and patient, explaining everything to us.

Very good dishes and the staff was very nice, the ambiance was very cozy and pleasant. Highly recommended
