Felt like a very traditional and local place, given the decor. I had the fried pork main, which was all you can eat. It’s the national dish of Denmark so I had to try it but I must say it was quite disappointing. The pork was quite hard and it was just too much. The sauce and vegetables were nice though. The cheese platter was also quite disappointing, they just took supermarket cheeses and put them on a board.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local while we were travelling in Copenhagen, and it didn’t disappoint. We got the stegt flaesk all you can eat - there was so much pork and potatoes!! Great value for money, one of the lower priced restaurants we went to in Copenhagen. The pork was so crispy, everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend to a visitor if you want local cuisine.

As Danish as it can be. All the typical Danish dishes. Inexpensive compared to other (Danish) places.

Highly recommended! We just had the best and most delicious Danish meal. My husband is ecstatic about the fried pork—one of the best we’ve ever had. We’re absolutely delighted!

A cozy place with the most delicious Danish meals I have ever tasted. The Hakkebøf & Bearnaise is not just a meal, it is an adventure! You want proper Danish food, athmosphere and drink, you come here!

I had the fried pork which I was told was a danish classic. It was bone dry, the potatoes were so overcooked that they felt wet. There was no check-in while we ate and at after the meal we had to find someone where we could pay cause everybody left. I love pork but I left more food uneaten than ever before

Honestly, the porkbelly was cold and Not crunchy. Food is overpriced, and Even we where Not happy, the waiter discussed the Not deserved Tip with us. I dont like to give Bad ratings, but I feel You Need a warning.

Yelp
I was recommended this place for danish food, but I would not recommend. Very pub style food, seating is mainly outside, some limited seating in an indoor area. Staff was friendly but food was very meh. The pork was dry and tasteless, and I wish I got something else. The staff had recommended this dish as popular too. This dinner came out to about $30, and this was not worth. The potatoes and gravy were satisfying along with the beet, but the portion of pork that I was interested in was so disappointing. I heard one of the lightbulbs go off too outside, and thankfully I was not seated near there.

Yelp
The food looked great, however service was so bad we walked out. Never received our apps even though the tables around us had been arced and finished. Our waitress spent 15 minutes talking to another table so she clearly didn't care whether we're taken care of or not.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. 20+ empty tables and told "reservation only". Solo dining while traveling, so I don't know if me being a foreigner has anything to do with it.

Yelp
I need to start with a caveat, this is my first time in Denmark so my expectations of the food may be skewed. This is basically Danish pub food. The food is not bad... on the contrary, the taste was pretty good. I was, however, expected something lighter. Almost everything on the menu is deep-fried. I played it safe and ordered the French Steak. The meat was OK but the filet had been deep-fat-fried. It was served with fried potatoes (fried soft, not crispy) and what-I-thought-were mixed vegetables that turned out to be pickles that were also deep fried! Healthy food, it ain't.

Yelp
Perfect for trying Danish food in a Danish atmosphere! Huge portions & large outdoor garden/terrace. Good prices as well!

Yelp
Great local place! Tons of open faced sandwiches and plenty of menu options. We got the Shooting Star, which was fried and boiled fish, topped with caviar, shrimp, and asparagus. It was delicious. Overall a great place with friendly English speaking staff

Yelp
The service was ok, the atmosphere was nice, but the food wasn't good. The meat was dry and the crust was hard like stone. They also put way too many salt on the meat. The salad that was served with it, I couldn't even call it a salad. The potatoes were fine but there were too many for one person, might as well order one dish for two people. If this is a traditional Danish dish then it's not for me.

Yelp
So I didn't know that this is where they bring the guys for their bachelors party until I had already ordered my food. Overall the place looks okay and food is okay. Yes, it is very traditional Danish food and the portions are HUGE! I suggest not to come on your own and maybe bring someone else to not look a lot like a loser.
