"Follow the Fondue La Crèmerie du Glacier is quite rightly renowned forits hearty Savoyard cuisine andhuge selection of cheese dishes. Couple that with the Alpine forest surroundings, a nearby glacier, and a warm wooden chalet interior, and the emblematic Chamonix experience is complete. Indeed, it seems little has changed at La Crèmerie du Glacier since it was first opened in 1926. Go with a large appetite, as the traditional dishes—raclette, fondue—arrive in alarmingly substantial quantity. No surprise then that locals descend upon this cream-colored restaurant in the evening, turning the dining room into a lively, raucous spot."

A must-try for the true French Alps experience! We had a wonderful, hearty meal in a cozy, rustic atmosphere. We ordered 'Le Menu du Skieur', which comes with the 'Gratin de Crozets' and a dessert of your choice. It’s amazing value, and we would definitely recommend it!
The service was friendly, and the whole experience felt authentic and special. Be sure to book in advance because it's quite popular!

An absolute must if you are visiting Chamonix Valley! A quaint restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Prices are very reasonable. We went in March and asked our concierge at the hotel to help with a reservation. Just a short hike from Pierre a Ric (see map). This is truly such a special place.

The restaurant is tucked in the mountains and accessible by the "pierre a ric" run/piste after a 5 min hike.
My gf and I had the fondue which was easily the best one I have ever had. Charcuterie was also divine. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone skiing on traveling by Le Grand Montets.

Amazing homestyle French meal that is perfect after a morning of skiing! We went for lunch and everything was amazing. They had one of the best tarte au citrons I have ever had. I do recommend making a reservation in advance (even just for lunch!) but this is one of my favorite spots.

Great mountain food! Call ahead to get a reservation. We walked up in winter from town. It was a little tricky to find but once you cross the piste you'll find the road, which was ploughed

This place is pretty much impossible to get to in the winter time, from all our research it says you can hike their, Apple Maps tells you to drive there, none of that is possible. We wasted an hour trying to get there and eventually gave up

Very cute house, nice deco, clean table setting serving traditional haute savoie cuisines. Very short opening times 6:45-8:45 pm on Monday night. Got greeted by the host and got seated right away even without reservation. Ordered the

This restaurant is very hard to find but all the local go here and at lunch many ski guides bring their clients. You can ski in and out. They are famous for En Croute which is toasted French bread with cheese and sauce or sausage. 1/2 our table had the "Super" which is with morel mushroom sauce. Very delicious sauce! Very nice salad too. Very good atmosphere on the mountain
