Got the breakfast platter and my partner had their eggs Benedict with lobster. Both were excellent! Lovely little place next to the water (we were seated on the terrace with the view of the ocean). A must try if you’re looking for a cozy breakfast. Only negative comment was the wait time for our coffee (give or take 15 minutes after we were seated). Overall 4/5!

We came for breakfast on a rainy day with our 10-month-old. It was busy but there were still empty tables. The hostess was rude and dismissive — when we asked about the wait time, she just said, “Too much,” with no explanation. We couldn’t help but feel it was because we didn’t speak French and felt racism. If you don’t want to welcome tourists, maybe don’t operate in a tourist area. Very disappointing experience.

Pretty content of my visit to this beautiful and cozy restaurant in Percé. My fiancee and I had the clam chowder and the soup of the day which was a vegetable creme soup. The clam chowder was a bit salty for my taste. For appetizers, we had the crab cake and the salmon tartare. I was amazed by how light and fresh the crab cake was. The salmon tartare was amazing For mains, my fiancee had the pan seared cod, which was cooked to perfection. It came with a white wine sauce which was delicious. I had the seafood pasta. I have to say that among all the seafood pastas I've tried in different restaurants in Gaspésie, this one has to be one of my favorites. The flavour of the sauce was perfectly balanced and creamy. Good amount of seafood and well cooked. Finally, for dessert we had the amazing molten cake with seasalt caramel on top. Absoluty delicious. Also really enjoyed that mermaid tail design on the plate as you can see on the picture 🤣. Overall, pretty satisfied with my meal and definitely one of my favorites in Gaspésie.

Excellent breakfast, delicious offerings prepared with quality local ingredients. Generous portions, and friendly service from the owner. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict (using the superb Atkin's Brothers fish) was sumptuous. We would have loved to try their supper menu, but they were fully booked on our night there. Will reserve ahead when we visit next.

It was excellent. The menu was varied. The food was excellent (Scallop "Fish & Chips", Salmon 2 ways, and Bouiliabasse). Our server, Laurence, was personable, professional and provided excellent advice.

I had the pleasure of visiting the great Percé region, but unfortunately going to Restaurant La Maison Mathilde was a traumatic experience both in terms of service and in terms of food. At this price point you would expect much more from this establishment, from the grease stains on the plates to the powdered mashed potatoes, to the overcooked lobster, this whole experience is a No Go…

While the service was lovely, the food was *extremely expensive* for a mediocre quality. The clam chowder was super salty and had a weird texture, the pasta was overwhelmingly spiced with salvia, it's pretty hard to completely ruin pasta yet here we are, bad $30 pasta .... The kids menu wasn't advertised so I had to fumble my way through the menu to finally ask for a modified dish and only then was I told that there were options for kids. Just give the kids a little menu and save yourself some work and anguish on the clients' side. The dessert was okay. The place is lovely and nicely decorated. Just hire another chef please and you'll make this place such an incredible restaurant.

Super tasty food! Friendly staff! Their meatless options are limited but their dishes are freshly made on the spot so they were very accomodating. We had the pancetta pasta and they replaced the pancetta with veggies. Food was so good we returned for breakfast the following two mornings! We had apple caramel crepe, omelet, breakfast plate, and eggs benedict on which they replaced the bacon for tomatoes. Super friendly staff as well, a must if you’re ever in Percé. One of the fews places open until late in Percé too.

Yelp
Location: At the edge of the village. You can walk if you're staying in the main part of town, otherwise they do have a small parking lot if you choose to drive. The place: Fantastic space that's located inside a house. The design and decor are phenomenal and their terrace is amazing. Also, great music. The goods: We started with the burrata, tomato, basil and balsamic vinegar. We were served the full ball of burrata, though it wasn't at room temperature therefore it was firm (not a huge deal - I just like when burrata is soft and creamy). As far as the tomatoes go, there was literally the equivalent of two cherry tomatoes cut in two, on the plate... For our main, we both ordered the seafood cassoulet, which was sinfully delicious and quite filling. There was a lot of seafood in there, and the rich, creamy sauce was just incredible. Considering how hearty the dish is, I would have preferred a salad or more vegetables instead of a side of mashed potatoes (there were a few veggies served with the dish). My mom wanted to order the chicken however it wasn't ready... Since we were full, we skipped dessert and ordered coffee - I don't know what kind of coffee these guys purchase but it was one of the best coffees I've had in a restaurant. For. Real. Service: OK. Price point: I personally found the prices to be a little on the high end considering what you get.

Yelp
We were a party of 12 people with reservations. We were seated promptly and our waiter was quick with our drink orders. The atmosphere was great, we were on the enclosed patio and the music was soft enough that we could carry on a conversation. Our food was excellent and all served warm and very close to the same time. I would highly recommend this place. Our server spoke very good English and he was very attentive.

Yelp
Excellent food and charming staff! My friend and I got caught by surprise when we found out every other restaurant in Percé had closed early (9pm), so we 'ended up' at Mathilde's. Let me tell you we were not disappointed! My friend and I are vegetarian and their menu is limited when it comes to meatless dishes, but the dishes are freshly made on the spot so they accomodated us (we had a pasta and instead of pancetta, they put veggies). Food was so good we went back the next two mornings for breakfast where we ordered the caramel apple crêpe, an omelet, a breakfast plate, and eggs benedict where they again replaced the bacon for tomatoes. Super friendly staff as well, very accommodating!

Yelp
We had planned on staying in Gaspe overnight but there were no rooms at the Inn(s). Drove on to Perce and arrived when it was dark. Checked in at the Hotel here ( Auberge Les Trois Soeurs) and woke up to the attached pic. After seeing the view had to have breakfast here and the pleasantness continued. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had my expectations too high I guess. Lobster linguini was just ok. Hubby had the steak medallion and was below average. Appetizers were just ok. Service was good but expect to pay high $$$ for a medium meal. Disappointed

Yelp
Really nice, well run place with reliably good food and good service. You can eat out back and look straight out onto the water. They make a really outstanding homemade hot sauce but you have to ask for it.

Yelp
Had a fantastic meal of lobster linguine. One must not be in a hurry as it does take time but is the price you pay as the meal is prepared properly from scratch and delivered to you immediately when ready. Clearly the kitchen is very skilled in their craft.

Yelp
We went there expecting a delicious lobster and all 3 of us who ordered it we're disappointed, the tail was almost inedible, it was so over cooked it was like eating a rubber tire. The other meal that was ordered was the lobster linguini and it tasted like lemons and not much else. It's also not cheap for 4 people with only 2 drinks ordered it was over $200.
