Restaurant La Table d'Antoine

Fabulous creative food, nice atmosphere. This place is well worth visiting. We were able to get a table even without a reservation. I especially liked the cheeses and selection of half bottle wines. Plus the lady at the front desk spoke English which is not common in France. It's an experience to remember!

Classical restaurant, delicious and localized foods, professional and really gentle service. Mr friend and I had a great night inside. Highly recommend.

It’s not often and I come across a restaurant where everything is delicious. They can easily get their first Michelin star. I’ve done many 1-2-3 Michelin stars, this goes in my top 3.

Very satisfied with our experience here. Professional and well trained service. They also provide english menu for non-french speaking guest. We had menu degustation which was excellent.

Today we experienced a fabulous restaurant in the centre of Vichy. The quality of the foods was first class and the creativity was incredible. The service was highly professional. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star.

I would give the restaurant a 4.5 star. The shrimp starter, and the fish was superb. The veal was a bit dry. The wine recommended by the waiter was really good, exactly what we described we wanted. A bit disappointed we were not allowed to have the full menu tasting because we were on the edge of the maximum allowable start for dinner, but we understood. For a high cuisine restaurant we were actually quite surprised we were completely full by the end of dinner - to the point of struggling with the desserts, and they were good! Would definitely recommend.

I am writing my comment again because you told me that there is no my name in the reservation. Of course it is totaly normal because our friend did the reservation :) For me, the taste doesn't deserve this price. Probably, I don't come again. Just the welcoming was good. Thanks for that.

I’d expect better for its standing.. the biscuit of the dessert was almost burnt. The main dish (filet de sebaste) was tasteless (the fish was dry, perhaps it was not the best choice for this dish).. average cheese selection.. i found the service good, though.. The biscuit was burnt. Dont worry I can distinguish burnt from doré color. Moreover, the biscuit in my friend’s dessert was different (in color and taste; hers was not burnt). We ate in bistro de l’opera and their cheese selection was a better fit to my taste. So I compared your selection with that one which was also offering local cheese. But then, it is a matter of taste..

We had an excellent meal here on an impromptu night in Vichy. My fiancé picked out the restaurant and I was a bit worried given the decor and lighting I saw in photos on tripadvisor (and on that note, I do wish they would dim a bit the lighting). But happily we were delightfully surprised with the level of service, attention to detail and almost perfect meal. We both ordered the menu du terroir and it was a great price for the number of courses. Everything was excellent except the chicken appetizer (entrée) which was just ok. We had the house cocktail (champagne and peach liqueur I think) which we both liked and drank a bottle of red Sancerre which was equally delicious. The service was exquisite and we felt very well looked after. By the time we paid the bill we felt absolutely satiated in body and spirit!
