Restaurant Le Caraquette

Great establishment with classic local cuisine. We really enjoyed it, especially the sauce that was served with the shrimp. It was very tasty. The desserts were also delightful, although the pie seemed a bit too sweet for our liking, but that's a matter of personal preference. Last time, we had the coconut pie, and it was absolutely fantastic. We're not fond of the tables and chairs; they look quite plain. However, overall, our impression is positive.

This is a nice place to go all year round. We went before the busy season starts, the service was wonderful our waitress spoke French and English. The food was delicious and hot. They have fast service, of course depending on how busy it might be once your there. The scenery is a beautiful site to see, open water and fishing boats. The decor fits perfect with the place. Loved it.

Gorgeous restaurant with a smoke free patio overlooking the harbour. Their menu is varied and reasonably priced. Their staff is also friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant. The waitress took time to let us know all the gluten free options and did an excellent job guiding my girlfriend through her options. I regret not getting the fish and chips since someone at the next table got them and they looked incredible

Food was delicious and the scenery on the patio is unlike anywhere I've eaten before! The waiter did criticize our beer choices though which I found a bit rude, calling it water. If it's all the same as water to you why didn't you give it to us for the same price as water? Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars completely. The other waitresses were super nice though and you can tell they are very hard workers.

Such a fantastic restaurant. The food was great and abundant, their coleslaw is the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely return. Fast and speedy service with a smile. Only 2 minor complaints, they sell canned pop (soda) at $2.99 plus tax - a dollar less would be reasonable, and I was charged $1.99 to have onions added to my club sandwich when there wasn’t many put on. I’ll just skip it next time. The onions that is, not the restaurant because we all so enjoyed our meals we will for sure be returning.

A gorgeous restaurant by the Bay. The seafood casserole was amazing and so rich.

I am always happy to come here to Le Caraquet, I have always found the food flavorful and well prepared. The waitress staff is always friendly and I don't speak French, but my wife and I always get what we ordered. We come here every time for breakfast when we are on vacation..
