Restaurant Le Carré D'Art

Forty years as a chef/restaurateur, in NYC and Hawaii, I know a little bit about the business. This is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in France. Food was creative and well executed. Bravo to the young chef. Service was friendly, as well as professional. Ambiance, according to my wife (retired designer) is spectacular. All that alone, would rate five stars, but the owner goes a step further. For those of you, in or were in the business, read the owner's response to some of his negative criticisms. He supports his staff, and for me, that rates an extra star. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Found by accident. We had their €23, 3 course set lunch. Amazing value, beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and so tasty. Beautiful Terrace. And friendly, efficient service. Could not fault it.

Omg! How does this fabulous restaurant only have a 4.3 rating?? Unbelievable. The food was excellent. The service superb. And the ambiance created by the beauty of the restaurant was unmatched. A don't miss when you go to Nimes.

Beautiful lush terrace in Nîmes where I enjoyed a lovely lunch served by a very friendly staff. The chef puts a lot of love and care in his dishes, which makes eating them a delightful experience. Thank you!

A restaurant with a beautiful terrace and delicious food

Wonderful court yard and very elegant place. The food is really good and even though the menu was limited due to the Feria festivities it was possible to do a vegetarian option that wasnt on the menu. Very friendly staff. Makes for a wonderful evening under the trees and just off one of the main squares in town.
