The lines waiting to eat here are for a reason. The food we had included the first course of gazpacho, chickpea bread with a creamy dipping sauce, and the frites with a garlic aioli with a heap of caviar. Mains were the veal skewers and razor thin beef carpaccio. All so wonderful, no one wanted to share. Service was impeccable, well paced and very attentive. Cocktails to begin and two bottles of wine to share made this evening one of the best meals we've had in Avignon. As far as we know, they do not take reservations, so be prepared to wait... but it is well worth it!
