This place deserves 5 stars. Very creative small restaurant. Wonderful soup with scallops and and an amazing pheasant. Equally fine desert. Great and friendly team. Probably one of the nicest squares in Avignon. Highly recommended. Reservation necessary!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The menu is small, focused and seems to change regularly. We had razor clams and langoustine for entrees. The razor clams were the standout - simply preparee with parsley and garlic, but so plump and juicy. For mains, the veal was a standout - very tender, accompanied with mushrooms and a delicious puree. The peach dessert was elegant and fresh, not too heavy and not too sweet. Service impeccable. As a note, we managed to snag a table for 2 without a reservation, however, saw many people getting turned away so reservations would be recommended.

Here’s a clean draft you could use for your Coin Caché dinner review: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dinner at Coin Caché was an absolute highlight. The dishes are made with fresh, local ingredients you can truly taste in every bite. Tucked right in the heart of the square, it feels like a hidden pocket of Parisian charm. Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and food that easily ranks among the best we’ve had in France. A must-visit! They’re so busy you must book in advance ! The lines waiting to eat here are for a reason. The food we had included the first course of gazpacho, chickpea bread with a creamy dipping sauce, and the frites with a garlic aioli with a heap of caviar. Mains were the veal skewers and razor thin beef carpaccio. All so wonderful, no one wanted to share. Service was impeccable, well paced and very attentive. Cocktails to begin and two bottles of wine to share made this evening one of the best meals we've had in Avignon. As far as we know, they do not take reservations, so be prepared to wait... but it is well worth it!

Outstanding place. Very good food (quite close to Michelin star level), lovely service. Very nice atmosphere. Very fast preparation of dish yet no pressure in the air. I appreciate small main course menu with 1 fish 1 meat and 1 vegetarian dish.

If only I could give 6 stars… Beautiful restaurant located off the main street in a quite and charming square. The dishes were all well thought and carefully prepared. The mix of flavours was not only very balanced but quite entertaining. I really had fun trying few things from the daily menu, also thanks to the very attentive service which also suggested very good wines to match the food. A little gem in the heart of Avignon that I won’t miss next time I’m in town!
