Restaurant Le Neptune

The hubby and I had the pleasure of dining at Le Neptune during lunch on our trip to France, and it was an extraordinary experience! The food was absolutely amazing—especially the fish, which was cooked to perfection and paired with creative, delicious accompaniments. The desserts were a standout as well, bursting with flavor yet perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Every dish was a feast for the eyes and the palate, beautifully presented with care and attention to detail. The customer service was exceptional. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, going the extra mile to accommodate my husband by speaking in English. They were also very helpful and accommodating with my reservation, ensuring our lunch went smoothly. Of course, we can’t forget the breathtaking view—one of the most magical aspects of this restaurant. Overlooking Collioure during the daytime added a special charm to our meal, making the entire experience even more memorable. The only downside was the limited parking, but the overall experience far outweighed this minor inconvenience. If you’re visiting Collioure, I highly recommend making time for lunch or dinner at Le Neptune. It’s a culinary delight that’s not to be missed!

Really good food and super nice service. We came to eat twice in 10 days stay. If you take a la carte though you pay the price of the menu for one dish...this is a bit exaggerated in my opinion. Foe the rest all lovely! And awesome selection of wines!

Pre booked here for a birthday and requested a seat with a good view, we certainly weren't disappointed and were positioned right at the front of the restaurant overlooking the harber and Castle. The menu had a great choice of food which tasted great. Myself and my wife had different set menus and switched a few dishes between ourselves. I had the wine pairing and my wife had non alcoholic drinks which were great. Only slight downside of a restaurant of this quality was the service was a little off what we've come to expect. For example keeping drinks topped up or spotting that they were low and my desert wine was forgotten so I had to request this, otherwise a delightful evening.

Fabulous views from the terrace of this restaurant overlooking Collioure harbour. Wonderful regional food, well cooked and presented and attentive and efficient staff. The sardines were terrific as was the creme Catalan. Perfect spot for dinner watching the sunset behind the castle.

Delightful environment, good food and service. The interior is set into the side of the cliff face with magnificent views across the port. The service was attentive but relaxed, although the wine with the main course arrived a little late. The menu at 39€ represented excellent value, although the cheese supplement at 10€ was a little much. The portions were in line with our expectations and were perfectly satisfying even for my healthy appetite.

Super friendly staff, manager spoke at least 3 languages. Online booking reservation system,made it very easy in the heat of the impeding lockdown come 21st July. Private parking included which is arguably the best viewpoint of the port. The restaurant lets us keep are carpark till 6pm coming after a lunch! Absolutely satisfied with the food. In no way pre-prepared, frozen then microwaved.. absolutely fresh, awesome chef.

The restaurant has a nice view on the gulf and the town, but we did not like the food: we found the Turbot fish tasteless and definitely overpriced. Fish soup comes with mozzarella to top it - I am not used to mis fish and cheese. For 1 soup, 2 dishes and water we spent 120 eur. Waiters were nice.

One of the better meals we've had in France. Service very good, extensive wine list including local and regional varietals. The herb-encrusted grilled lamb was amazing! (And nice to see lamb on a menu). Vegetarian prix fix menu was a bit of a disappointment, no protein and the gnocchi did not seem freshly made. Desserts were quite good
