It was my first time at the restaurant, but sadly, I wasn’t convinced. Some dishes just didn’t work for me. The egg dish had two fillings, one was good, the other not to my taste. The raw fish with green sorbet was overwhelmed by a strong dill (aneth) flavor, which masked the fish completely. The main course fish was well-cooked, but again the dill-flavored potatoes didn’t appeal to me. Dessert was tasty, but overall, the experience fell short. Also, no butter with the bread, which I think is a must in a place like this. We also waited so long for our dishes that we spend more than 4 hours at this restaurant. The service was very good and friendly.

Le Sud is former known for the Michelin star and it is a great venue for private events but the rooftop looks warn out and need a caring hand. Food is great with new ideas and the dining room is convincing.

The restaurant has good views of the valley, which is even better from the terrace. There are two separate places, the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Both are served from the same kitchen. The bar serves overpriced finger food. You are better off choosing the restaurant if you plan to eat. The interior of the restaurant is nicely done, although the ceiling's design is a bit out of place. The background music is just about audible to not disturb your conversation. At the time, slow jazz was played. The staff is corteous and well trained. Sometimes, the direct translations come off as akward from the staff..."have you appreciated the food". Also, one staff member kept trying to crack jokes about us finishing our plates. It became disturbing as the courses progressed. Service was slow. Bringing bread, after asking, took 10+ min. The drink at the terrace took 20 minutes, and it took 15 min until the order was taken. The menu has set as well as limited a la carte options. The dishes were well presented and tasty, albeit too salty. Portion size is small, as you would expect from fine dining. It's worth a try.

Good fine dining in a romantic, pleasant, authentic, and charming setting. The food was delicious. I was there for Valentine’s Day dinner. The menu was well-balanced, offering a bit of everything. I would love to go back again. Be sure to reserve a table in advance!

Located in the Grund district with a rooftop view that could rival any Parisian terrace. The interior is chic, warm, and romantic — perfect for evenings. I had the lamb confit and seasonal vegetables, followed by a chocolate dessert that was simply divine. Staff were attentive but never rushed; they explained ingredients with enthusiasm. The wine list is extensive, with great local bottles. Every detail felt curated, from the plating to the background music. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you slow down and enjoy life — absolutely worth the visit if you’re in Luxembourg.

Loved the classy interior and professional service. The food was delicious, unique and beautiful. Thank you 😊 I gave one star less because we were waiting for dessert for 45 minutes! The waiters were working very fast, so definitely they did their best. However, we would appreciate if they notified us about the waiting time in advance, so that we could have this option to decide if we wanted to wait that long…

I paid 18 euros for some quite plane scampi (probably frozen and then fried?). This was in the rooftop bar, I get it, finger food…BUT If you are the rooftop of a pricy restaurant and charge such fee , be sure your tapas are great . Never coming back … the 18 euros was for one portion of 4 scampi (it said 5 on the menu as well!)

Atmosphere was really nice when we visited this place, the service was so and so, the food taste and plating was good. 4/5, overall experience was good, the atmosphere was really nice and it was sunny that day. Check the menu and prices before, it is bit high.
