We were on a champagne tour with Sparkling Tours (highly recommended) and stopped here for lunch. Wasn't expecting much. However, we had a great meal. Beautiful atmosphere, service, and food. All 7 of our dishes were good. Nice champagne list with helpful recommendations.

The place seems to be quite popular since it was completely booked on a monday evening, so make sure to have a reservation.
The food was ok. The amouse bouche wit cucumber gaspaccho and the aperitif with goat pannacotta and beetroot were really good!
The pistacchio dessert was way too sweet and had a rather artificial taste to it :(
They do not have an english version for the menu and none of the allergens is written in the menu and this was really unpleaseant when the sole meunier fish came with a crust of wheat to a person with gluten intollerance.
The service was impecable and they were extremely well organized considering "the full house".

Had dinner there the last night and it exceeded our expectations! The restaurant was recommended by a friend in Philadelphia, ans we were delighted with the food, wine, ambiance and the attention from Lieven, the chef/owner. Would highly recommend!

The staff is friendly and the food is good. We had the pre fixed menu but it had plenty of options. Plan to spend at least 2 hours on dinner!

Great restaurant for traditional French cuisine. The veal and dishes were both delightful. I recommend the duck terrine entrée which was lovely. For dessert, I had the croustillant aux figues which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel. The mix of cold and hot was absolutely delightful!

Awesome restaurant - classic french food poshed up just a little bit for us tourists. The wine list seems curated and thought through but is not very extensive...we did, however, find an absolute gem in the H. Goutorbe Cuvée prestige
Had the three course menu - and everything was flawless and well presented....only downside was that the sole meuniere served to the table besides us looked absolutely gorgeous and we didn't get that :D
Service is impeccable and French - not at all arrogant or posh, just well mannered and meticulous
Total spend €179 for party of two incl. full bottle of local sparkling wine
Would definitely go again if back in Epernay

I had an excellent time with my daughter. The menu is simple and very tasty. We will go back next time we’re in Champagne.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch while we did champagne tasting and the food was amazing!
Service was top notch and everyone speaks English and will explain what is on the menu. I did the 3 course set menu for 37, started with escargot and it was so flavorful and delicious. Main I had the fish and dessert I went for the fig pastry with ice cream. Every dish was cooked perfectly!

Yelp
We loved this restaurant. The food was inspired and creative and just superb. The service was top notch. We have been to various parts of France for many years and I can say without hesitation that our evening here was one of the best meals we have ever had.

Yelp
First night in Epernay. Exhausted from full day of Champaign tasting. Wanted easy dinner. Our guide recommended La Theatre. I had a feeling it would be more that we wanted - so we almost didn't go. That would have been a mistake. I am SO GLAD we did!! Incredible food. Fantastic atmosphere. Fancy but could handle nice jeans and dress shirt too. The chef visited our table twice. His specials were mouth watering. Every bite was gastronomic. Quite possibly the best olive oil we've ever tasted. The beef could be cut with a fork. The veggies melted in our mouths. The chicken was juicy. Three college sons ate every bite too! Don't miss this restaurant if you are in Epernay or Reims!

Yelp
An excellent range of food and drinks with very attentive service. I tried a 3 course menu at €32 and per course there was a choice of three different options. Wine is sold by the half bottle which also gave you the chance to mix and match according to the choices of the group. Very good
