What a delightful fondue restaurant nestled in the charming heart of Geneva's old town! A dear friend introduced me to this gem, and I must say, it truly lived up to all the wonderful things I had heard about it. It was my very first experience with fondue, and oh my, it was absolutely delicious! The local wine complemented the meal beautifully as well. The service was impressively swift and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Classic Swiss dining in a cozy, historic setting. The fondue is delicious and the atmosphere charming—perfect for a traditional Geneva experience. Also my first time ever trying snails which was a fun experience!

Inside the old town of Geneva this lovely, posh, restaurant has excellent food and excellent service. Inside it is very elegant. It gets very busy so beware, I was lucky to get a table. They have a variety of food on the menu, My chicken in honey sauce and lettuce with small chunks of cheese and croutons was divine. And my dessert homemade fruit tart with cream was heaven. The staff were very professional and especially Thiolery who served me was excellent in his professionalism and was very welcoming. Expensive, But, If you want quality you have to pay for it.

I came here for lunch and the onion soup, which was flavourful. The second dish was raclette au pomme de terre and also this was delicious. Also the bread was yummy!! Love the interior, ambiance and the atmosphere! Menu has a great range of dishes from entrees to mains. Of course a very nice selection of wines. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Would love to be back again.❤️ Highly recommended.

A jewel of a restaurant in the city centre, amazingly attentive staff, we did not have a reservation and they managed to secure us a table in 5 minutes. The terrace looked nice but the interior was spectacularly decorated, cozy, homely and very well kept. The atmosphere was also very lively but not loud, everyone was well behaved and gracious. The food was delicious, we had the fondue with bacon and mushrooms which added a nice flavour. Wide variety of wines and also of craft beers, the restrooms were throughouly clean and they had good WiFi coverage.

Les Armures - Geneva This restaurant is no stranger to famous people; Bill Murray Paul McCartney - (10/09/00) George Clooney - (03/09/08) Bill Clinton - (15/01/94) I haven't eaten anything all day. I was walking around and stumbled by accident across Restaurant Les Armures. This restaurant welcomes everyone with open arms and staff is more than willing to help you navigate through their Swiss Menu. I walked in around, 17:30 (5:30pm), during their busy time and I asked if they had any open tables available for one person. The manager was so kind and graciously let me dine here. He did say, “As long as you can dine in an hour and a half, you should be fine. We do have reservations set past 19:00 (7:30pm).” I accepted his offer, “I appreciate it, I don’t need but an hour.” The atmosphere is very historic, dating back to 17th century. Here you will enjoy exquisite dishes and wonderful Swiss hospitality. The staff is more than happy give you great recommendations and help translate menu. They offer great choices on their menu. I wanted something completely local. I settled on, “Féra fumée du Léman” - Smoked Geneva Lake White Fish. My waiter also recommended something on the sweet side for dessert, “Mousse au chocolat suisse et Ovomaltine.” - Swiss Chocolate Mousse with Ovomaltine. Every dish was delicious and worth the price. Next time you’re visiting Geneva, stop by here and enjoy great hospitality and cuisine.

A very nice restaurant a block away from the Cathedral serving the traditional staples of swiss delicacies, including cheese fondue. Very popular with tourists. Very competent wine list, including a large selection by the glass . Recommended

Even though we hadn’t made a reservation, the gentleman who helped us did his very best to quickly find us a table. The service was excellent and professional. The cheese fondue and my friends main course were delicious. The cherry dessert was not quite to our taste, but overall it was a very good experience and definitely worth recommending.
