Restaurant Les Embruns -Ile de Ré

Once again this little restaurant delivers perfectly cooked fresh food. The waiter has excellent table-side manners, he is clearly very experienced and adds another degree of class. He is discrete & respectful and speaks very good English for those that do not speak French very well. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. For me I can only classify this place as OUTSTANDING! 10/10!!

Small restaurant in the center of St-Martin’s harbor. Should be booked in advance. Waiter was insisting and pushing us to decide faster about our order. It was unusual. Main plate was not balanced: fish already cold and vegetables super hot after microwave I suppose. Food was heavy, even seafood. Crème brûlée was very good. With wine dinner for two cost approximately 140€

Nice place where most people go around by bike. The bridge costs 16 euro for round trip. You can go there with bus or boat from La Rochelle. It has several nice beaches and some nice villages with very good food.

Got there for a late lunch and were lucky as minutes after they were full. The staff is very kind, the food was amazing and the service in general was top!
