Best in class cuisine. Unfortunately, the service is worst than at a Paccini.
On the reservation, we had requested to be seated at the bar, but upon arrival, we were told it was not possible because it was full. Only to realized they decided to seat another people that came in an hour after us.. I guess it is not first come first served, but need to be the Maitre d'hotel friend if you wish a place at the bar..
Also, Maître d'hotel was on a power trip, more focused on bossing the waiters than actually making sure all clients were taking care of.
We waited 10min after being seated before we even got acknowledged. Meanwhile, the Maitre d'hotel was standing a couple feet from our table, looking at us, without water nor drinks, and did not do anything...
And we'll be honest here, the restaurant was at 30% capacity.... would not want to go there when its full. In other words, there is NO excuses for this poor service quality.
If he's the one in charge of training, this is really bad for the future of the service quality.
Did not match the customer experience standard of the Germain Hotel in any way.
Very disappointing experience, especially when you consider the 375$ bill for two people at the end.
Again, culinary wise, I would have give 5 stars. Unfortunately the poor quality of service left a sour taste.
